MIKE EPPS ON TOUR:
Actor and comedian Mike Epps has been bringing tears of hilarity to peoples' eyes ever since joining the Def Comedy Jam tour in 1995. Known for his hilarious impersonations of stoner life in films like How High and Next Friday, Epps adds pop culture and current events to his list of targets during his side-splitting stand-up act. Fresh off a spate of hat-tipping live concerts shows in 2013, Epps is set for another banner year, embarking on the worldwide After Dark Tour in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Epps' knack for comedy was encouraged by his parents, leading to stand-up gigs as a teenager and a job at the Comedy Act Theater in Atlanta. His break came in 1995 when he appeared on the Def Comedy Jam, going on tour and appearing on HBO's broadcasts of the performances. Beginning with his appearance in Ice Cube's 1999 film Next Friday, Epps landed a series of successful roles, becoming an increasingly familiar face in film and television throughout the '00s, including a stint as host of the BET Hip Hop Awards from 2009-2012. On a stand-up tour in 2014, the ever-upbeat Epps established himself as a role model, taking time out of his busy touring schedule to speak to high school students about the dangers of bullying and the possibility of overcoming obstacles to achieve success.

overall, both comedians were hilarious. I had tears in my eyes minutes into the show, the only thing i have to say thats negative is that it lasted a lil too long. other than that it was off the hook.
I loved Mike Epps. I'd definitely go again and/or recommend him. He had me and my bf rolling all night. I'm a fan already so I may be bias but he's just hilarious and worth the money.
I liked the show a lot. This was my 3rd time seeing Mike Epps.
The guy was good.. funny and very entertaining. The show was short, I had hoped for more time. The jokes were somewhat already told stories, but the delivery was awesome which made the difference. For the ticket price it was definitely worth it. We had front row A1 seating but it sucked, Unrelated to Mike of course but they did jam pack the lower level. Looking up at those in the mezzanine I wish I had that seat instead.. overall Good!
I enjoyed the show. It was great!! Mike Epps kept you laughing. I like his versitility. He is good on stage live, as well as in films. KEEP IT COMING MIKE!!!!
I would recommend this event to others only if the opening acts remained. He (Mike) need to prepared before he showed up. I was very disappointed at his performance. I would conclude that he was not prepared and was searching for material. Not at all natural. He was not that funny, actually very close to boring. We were in tears before Mike came out. He took us from a High to a very very Low... We ended up leaving before his show was done.
I think that it was ok but,it was not his best performance & it could have been better
The concert I bought tickets to said Mike Epps and Friends. The friends were supposed to be Capone, Lil JJ, and Shawty. The comedians we saw were funny but they were not who my ticket listed. They didn't even explain why they were not there or who the new comedians were. I gave the concert 4 stars because overall it was funny, but I was really looking forward to seeing Shawty and Lil JJ.
This was my first comedy show I attended it was all that and then some, I promote a lot of show's, but this was by far the best show I've attended in a while. Although the sound could have been a little better but other than that it was good.
I loved the show, thought the preview comics were hilarious and on the money. They really got me in the mood to laugh.
Mike Epps is a really funny guy,he kept me laughing the whole time.The guy from Alabama was also funny however the young man from Atlanta needs a little more practice on his act.
My husband and I went to the show and it was great. Every bit as good as I expected. I was impressed. Sometimes you see a comedian and they're just not as funny as they are in movies- Not so with Mike Epps. We stayed after the show to get an autograph and meet him he was sooooooooo nice and down to earth!!! I would definitely recommend Mike Epps to anyone wanting a great night out for a reasonable price plus you'll laugh yourself silly.
Would have been 5 stars if Mike Epps had have done the entire show by himself, the other comedians weren't that funny.
Mike Epps show was everything I thought it would be and more! The show started on time & I was laughing so hard Mike Epps had me practically falling out of my seat! It was worth every penny
To start, we purchased tickets online and was told we could pick up at will call the day of the event. This location had no will call and had no way of verifying ticket purchase. The event started late due to late arrivals, bad parking and slow ticket handling. Seating floor plan awful. One comedian was heckled off the stage. Fight broke out during Epps's performance. No organization leaving this event. Hated the way comedians made blacks feel inferior to whites> This gets old, not funnier. I recommend spending the money on a better location when coming to the Greenville area. Also offer VIP parking/seating. I would have paid for that convenience regardless of cost. I know I sound like some... stuck up..... something, but honesty helps shape a better event!! This was my experince.

This was my first time seeing Mike Epps in person doing standup. I have seen him in several films and thought he was very funny. His standup show was a big disappointment to me. He was not funny at all. The opening acts were funnier than Epps.
everything was good i liked the part when he did mccain with the short arm and he also has beautiful kids.
The show was great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
