About

MIGOS IN CONCERT:

Southern hip hop trio Migos is quickly making a name for themselves with their swagged-out personal style, high-energy performances, and catchy singles like "Versace". Taking the stage donning sunglasses, backpacks, and plenty of bling, the rappers cut a stylish group as they get the crowd bouncing to popular songs like "Hannah Montana" and "Flight Night". Whether they're freestyling between tracks or hyping up the crowd with call-and-response vocals, Migos always brings the party on their can't-miss tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Georgia-based hip hop trio Migos began releasing mixtapes in 2011, but they didn't hit the big time until they released their track "Versace" in 2013. The track quickly went viral, cracking the Billboard 100 and landing on the year-end lists of numerous media outlets including SPIN, which named it the fifth best song of the year. The track ended up on the 2013 mixtape Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas), a critically acclaimed effort that landed on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and brought the group out on a nationwide tour. They've collaborated with such luminaries as Drake, Busta Rhymes, and Gucci Mane, and performed at several high-profile festivals including the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival. In 2014 Migos dropped their mixtape No Label 2 to another round of critical praise, building enthusiasm among ticket buyers for their upcoming tour dates.

    Migos was lit!

by Pocahontas1015 on 1/17/17Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

The concert overall was good just when Trina and Migos performed. But I did not like that at 8 when the show was supposed to start we were outside waiting then a DJ put regular songs which I didn't mind because it pumped the crowd. Then a handful of upcoming artistes performed. And Trina only sang two songs I am happy that she was worried about a young lady who fainted and didn't sing til someone got her water. Then Migos didn't come till midnight.

    Loooooooooong wait

by JStarD on 1/17/17Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Long story short. Show started at 8 ended at 1240, Migos came out at 12. It was really disappointing we had to wait that long but once they did come we all went wild. I wont do it again because it was standing room and just like the other reviews local acts performed, which was not what I paid for.

    Terrible!! Waste of Money!

by ConcertPro123 on 1/10/17Memphis Cook Convention Center - Memphis

Arrived 3 1/2 hours late. Performed only 15 mins then the concert ended. Barely anybody was there. Definitely a huge waste of money I'll never get back.

    Where was Migos?

by Anonymous on 1/10/17Memphis Cook Convention Center - Memphis

DJ AWALL was awesome and did a great job, but after 3 hours of waiting Migos was nowhere to be found and didn't come on until 11:30. If you're looking to wait for over three hours then it's the perfect concert for you.

    Joke

by Shouldrefundshow on 1/10/17Memphis Cook Convention Center - Memphis

I should get my money refunded. Show started at 8. amigos didn't show until after midnight after repeatedly saying "just another 20 minutes" and assured they'd start by 1030. I left as did many others.

    Very energetic

by Hannah17 on 5/3/16Newport Music Hall - Columbus

I thought the opening acts were great! It did take Migos forever to come out. You could definitely tell they were late cause the people on the stage you could tell was trying to stall us and they looked confused. But they sounded great and were entertaining!

We got in the doors at 7:15 ish and there were a total of 5 openers. Migos didn't come out until 10:45 and the concert was over by 11:20 they played 6 songs total and then just left. No one even knew the concert was over until the venue turned all the lights on the didn't thank us for coming out or anything. And the next day they tweeted from the account Columbus Ohio it's cold in your city. Wish artist would appreciate their fans more... Wouldn't be on that stage of it wasn't for the crowd. ):

by BowR on 5/2/16Newport Music Hall - Columbus

My favorite trio killed it on the mic. I loved the show, couldn't have asked for anything more except to stay on stage longer!

This was a fun event. There was a nice mixed crowd. My friends were skeptical about coming but they didn't regret one bit.

    Very frustrating

by Random2224 on 5/2/16Newport Music Hall - Columbus

Migos themselves were very good and sang all their popular songs although it went very fast. However, I have no idea who the opening act was, it was about 20 random black people up on stage singing, rapping, dancing, and dj'ing for about 3 and a half hours. We got there at 7 and migos didn't come on until about 10:30. It was ridiculous. Everyone in the audience was tired and getting very restless by the time they came on. It would have been nice to have been warned that the opening act (which was terrible by the way) was going to take that long. I'm gonna be wary about what rap groups I go see from now on this was very poorly put together.

    Not the best.

by jmonetwilson on 5/2/16Newport Music Hall - Columbus

I wouldn't recommend this concert. I don't think they put on a great show. There was 3 and a half hours of opening acts and Migos only performed for 45 minutes. Although I had a great time, I don't recommend.

    Best Night Ever !!!!!!!!!!!

by KissMarilyn on 3/15/16Center Stage - Atlanta

I have been to many concerts but this was my first Rap/ Hip- Hop concert. Usually im not the one who loves seeing opening acts, but everyone from Quality Control the label caught my attention that night . From START to FINISH the concert was AMAZING. The whole crowd was hype the entire time. This was the best way to spend my 21st birthday ! Of course Migos was the best ! They started off performing my favorite songs on YRN 2 and then they performed some of their older music. I've been a fan since day one so seeing them in person was a great feeling. At the end of the day, if you wasn't there then you wouldn't understand ! I would pay to see them again. Oh yea, during the concert, some of the artists threw water in the audience and you would think God came down and personally touched them because they went nuts !! Lol Loved it !!!!!!

    Never again

by jemial85 on 12/30/14Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

The show was supposed to start at 10pm. They never showed up until 3:30 am and did about 15 minutes of songs. The whole show was local artists that had no talent at all. Only 2 of the Migos acted like they wanted to be there the other one looked like he was so high he didn't know his own name... wish I could get my money back.

    Horrible!!!!!

by BBELUISITO on 12/30/14Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

I purchased these tickets with the mindset that I would be seeing the Migos perform. Well I was wrong. The doors opened up at 10pm so we get there 20 mins before since there's no seating at revolution wanted to get a good spot.... Well we get in and I figured there would be a couple of opening acts but when its 3 in the morning and the group you came to see has yet get on and the venue closes at 4 you start to get pissed... We ended up leaving at 3:30 everyone who I asked insisted that the group was going to perform soon but I had enough. Come to find out that they did finally get on stage for what was about 20 mins.. What a joke!!!!

by Swaylub on 10/21/14Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts - New Orleans

The Migos didnt show up to the concert until 11:45!!!! It was the worse experience ever!!! The dj played music from 8 which is when the concert was suppose to start. When the Migos finally made it the rapped about 5 songs and that was it!!! I will never attend another concert. And the mahela Jackson theathre is a horrible place to host a concert!
