Excellent rodeo. Really enjoyed the trick riders, especially the surprise from the clown. Wish there were a few more participants.
My friend and I went to the Rodeo on Friday night but had a bad time because of the 8 women who were drinking heavily, standing up constantly for a beer run, bathroom breaks smoke breaks, fighting breaks, crying breaks and standing up to taking selfies for about 98% of the Rodeo. I am serious. Worst money I've spent. What is even worse is these "ladies" were in their 40s and should know better at their age. Makes me ashamed to be in that age group as well. With all this action, I saw nearly none of the Rodeo and neither did anyone else unfortunate enough to be stuck around or behind them. Next time I'll just buy the video, it costs about the same without having to deal with idiots.
Cons: Spread out & no map of the grounds was available; Many stalls were not labeled with horse info (ie. Breed, age); some people charged $5 for parking (on top of the $17 per person entry fee) & others were not; at Saturday's rodeo a rock band perfomed the National Anthem- or at least that's what it was supposed to be - was VERY disrespectful and offensive!! Pros: Saturday's Rodeo was AWESOME!!! Some good deals on horsey items & tack, spread out & felt less-crowded Summary: all horse entries should be required to post info; a brochure should be provided to ticket buyers that includes show times & location and map of grounds to include Vendors, Food stands, horse breed locations. The Rodeo is a must-see family event!
There were some talented contestants there but the production itself was shabby. People who don't know rodeo won't know the difference. But knowledgeable fan most cerainly do.
The rodeo was really good, worth seeing. Ticketmaster however is another story. I tried to select my own seats and I wasn't able to. Had to go with their selection which they called "best" and I sat behind a pole! The seats sucked!!!
Great events, ran smoothly with no waiting around for the next event. Great family fun for all ages.
Rodeo Friday and Saturday was VERY entertaining. Enjoy listening to the announcer and the "rodeo clown" was hilarious. Really enjoyed the "act". Liked the fact that Midwest had the rodeo "both nights" and they were a little different.
This was another great evening of rodeo enjoyment. The 2 1/2 hours just flew by and there was something happening every minute.
Excellent! We have been to many rodeos in the area and this is the best one around. Keep up the good work and please bring them back again next year. We attended both nights and enjoyed both performances. The clown and announcer worked well together and did a great job.
I haven't been in a few years. Now I really am glad I went this year. Had a great time especially the rodeo. Glad it was 2 days so we were able to get tickets. Clinics were great. Got to all the ones we wanted.
We went to the Friday night rodeo. The stock were excellent and the cowboys and cowgirls amazing. We were very impressed with the clown and his trick riding which was a pleasent surprise. The program flowed nicely from event to event.
Rodeo was very good a little on the short side but good. rodeo clown was one of the best I've seen.
Thought the rodeo contestants were not the same caliber they have been in years past. Not sure if it was the stock or the cowboys? The announcer was good as was the clown. Really enjoyed their interaction. The monkeys riding the dogs was cute. Liked the one arm fellow who rounded up the buffalo better in years past. The trick riders were very good and entertaining.
The Rodeo was nice, but, I felt that with the 2 nights, it wasn't as good as other years when they only ran it on Friday night. To much fluff and not enough rodeo.
I think there was less participants and less entertainment. It may have to do with the EHV-1 outbreak too. Just a little disappointed this year.
