My daughter loves Greta Van Fleet. This would be their closest performance but still 3-1/2 hours from home. I bought the tickets so my husband could take her. Then, one of the band members got injured, and they didn't perform. Very disappointing. They went to the festival anyway and enjoyed themselves.
First time to MOTM event, cool venue at Crossroads, but with 3 missing acts in one night, disappointed by music delivery
I bought two VIP tickets because I really wanted to see Great Van Fleet. They cancelled like the day before, so that was not cool. Because they were not "the headliners", no refund was available. I would have been SUPER upset had Spoon not been so incredible! I really enjoyed them! The venue itself is fine for a standing event.
Went to see one band. They didn’t show up so we left.
I'm so glad we have this in KC. I wish there was more stuff like it!
This year's line-up and schedule was by far the best so far. I was able to squeeze in 7 complete shows, start to end of set, and only miss a few due to co-inciding showtime conflicts. Loved the venues, and that this event is really making the Crossroads area of KC come to life.
Great venue, intimate, and outdoors. Great location !
The whole set by the Struts was GREAT.I wish they could of played longer
Once again, this was a great film festival put on at the Alamo by Ink, Record Machine and others. As always - a great value! Thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers....hope to see you again next year!
Best value and best week of movies anywhere! I saw 15 great films on the big screen at The Alamo (snacks and drinks to your table) for $35- oh, and three great live band performances. Highly recommended!
Wow! What a waste of time. He did 40 minutes of q&a and he wasn't funny! I was there with a group and we were hoping for some laughs, but it just never happend!!! We loved him on SNL and were soooo disappointed!
Although we are big fans of Fred's and recognize his talent, the show just didn't go anywhere. The best part was about 30 minutes when he did some situational humor and talked a bit. After that, he played some songs and then took questions from the audience which went on way too long and was not interesting for most of the audience other than the person asking the question at the time. In Fred's defense, he tried to turn some of the answers into comedic sketches, but sadly, there just wasn't enough of Fred in the whole evening. I will say he genuinely seems to be a nice and kind person with lots of talent. Still big fans of his, but definitely did not feel we saw enough of his talent and humor to justify buying the $65 VIP ticket.
