With only a 6 song EP out, I thought the band may falter a little with the new tracks, but I'm pleased to say I was entirely mistaken. They have only fueled my fervor for the full LP to drop and to get another chance to see them. Also, shoutout to Bleach Babes who put on a solid opening set.

The Basement offered a close, personal connection with the band and music. The next day I was looking for other bands to see there. In terms of the band, I went because I liked their music; but the energy on stage was intense. I was especially surprised by how heavy they played. The EP wasn't nearly so loud, as it were, but still enjoyable. It made the show even better that the music wasn't just a live copy of the studio work. I felt it was something I'd only experience live. Very cool.
