Good venue, good announcers. The games should return to Friday and Saturday instead of Saturday and Sunday. Ford field "selling out"to a college game which was poorly attended where they couldn't even give tickets away was a real disappointment. Shame on Ford Field to selling out to this event as this adjustment was not well received by nearly the entire high school football community throughout Michigan. It would have be better if more of the vendor stations were open - at least on Sunday when I attended.
Southfield A&T put on the game of the year in their victory against two time State Champ Belleville.
Nice stadium. Could really use more restaurant options. And someplace that offers a good cup of coffee!
Just the game being played that late in the evening on a Sunday
Went to the 4pm game; south-side. Found a nice seat during the game prior. Went out before it ended to get a snack. Returned with 2 minutes left and the Usher was not letting anyone go anywhere but out! Ridiculous!!! And I lost my seats.
Really enjoyed the division 1 football game. Parking was insane considering it was a high school game.
You need a better system for getting fans from the earlier game out of the stands before the fans for the later game start filling in the sections. It caused mass confusion and a huge log jam in the entryway and in the aisle leading down to the seats.
Both games were really competive! Congrats to my hometown team The Muskegon Big Reds! Also to Southfield A&T who came from behind to beat my cousin's team the Belleville Tigers. The school pride really showed in the whole stadium. Good job young men on all your hard work this season wether it was win or lose.
The MHSAA Football state finals are always a great event. The players are playing for each other and their communities, not for fame and fortune. Love the purity of the high school game!
I love Ford Field. Itâs always fun to go for a game. I enjoyed the MHSAA football championships. I would love it even more if we - as parents- can rent out a suite and host a viewing party. Particularly is our sonâs senior year. It would make it more special.
There is absolutely no reason to over charge for flood and drink. Specially since 50% of the attendees are students. Pure ripoff!!!!! Games were great, should probably gotten rid of the MSU spartan head had mid field. Facilities were great.
Such a great experience from start to finish. Seamless entry process and the staff were very attentive. We had a chance to sit close to the field so it was an amazing experience.
Poor system Cash is better Had to get help To process the 13 tickets The guys were very nice Got to a better way and easier and more of the older people would go. Who wants to buy a ticket in advance with a possibility of not going and no refund
The High School Football Finals at Ford Field was a wonderful experience. They are very organized and everything seemed to run smoothly. Games did take a long time to play but there was always something to watch and hold your attention. Getting tickets through Ticketmaster was fast, easy and without any problems. Hope to get to see more high school football playoffs in the future. There are good players in every division but the quality of play seems to improve as you move from Division 8 to Division 1. Support from students and spectators for their team was very satisfying to observe. Great time, great experience.
It would have been nice to be able to rent a sweet for the day
Easy drive to and from. Ramp parking perfect distance. Cost reasonable for the parking and event. Great games. Fun day.
Need better Referee's - obvious bad calls Ford Field venue was nice - not a bad seat in the house plenty of restroom facilities
First time at Ford Field and/or dealing with Ticketmaster. Ford Field was much cleaner than expected. Wish there had been signs for the food concessions. Seating was good and we had one in our group that needed to sit in the handicap seats and we were still able to see things on the field. Prices are too high and rediculous for food. The music played during medial breaks was too loud. I have ear issues, hot bad hearing, and I had a nasty headache when I left. However, the fact that my team won Division 5 makes up for everything else. If I were to come again I would bring ear plugs to tone down the speakers. Also, I had never dealt with Ticketmaster and had the tickets on my phone which was also a new experience. They were very helpful getting the tickets off my phone.
This was my second Division 1 finals in two years at Ford field. We had a fantastic time , unfortunately it was on the same day as the Michigan/ Ohio St game. Thank you so much for the WiFi which allowed me to watch both games !! Hope Iâll be back next year !
