About
NY-based writer and standup comedian Michael Che is a star on the rise. Named one of Rolling Stone’s 50 Funniest People in 2013, his comedy uses humor to identify humanity in the most controversial actions.
In March 2013, Che was brought on as a writer for two installments of NBC’siconic Saturday Night Live. Che appears on Vh1’s Best Week Ever and was featured on John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show on Comedy Central, Money from Strangers on MTV and IFC's comedy game show Bunk. This year, he will be featured at many comedy festivals: Melbourne, Moontower, Bonnaroo and Edinburgh.
On November 3rd, 2012, Che made his late night television debut CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman. Also in 2012, he created, wrote and starred in the original web series “The Realest Candidate” on Broadway Video’s YouTube channel. Che was crowned New York’s Funniest Stand-Up at the 2012 New York Comedy Festival, and both Time-Out NY and Comedy Central have listed him as one of their "Comics To Watch."
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 7/14/14Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco Rating: 4 out of 5by Anonymous on 7/1/13Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco Che was quite entertaining and I liked how he did not use vulgarity in his comedy like the two comedians before him in the lineup. He was very friendly when I went up to him after the set.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Michael Che is a pro!
