My first time to see both Kenny G and Michael Bolton was an amazing adventure. First off...Kenny G is standing next to me at the sound mixer. The show begins from there and he stops and plays to different sections of the audience...what a great way to make everyone feel a "part" of the show! He sustains that long note on his sax (over two minutes) and later explains how he accomplishes this feat. Humor abounds and I didn't expect this...he told us he was "cold" and had hand warmers in both pockets and so if we saw him frequently putting his hands in his pockets and "smiling alot"...that he was merely warming his hands! He also was giving away one of his own saxophones and told us to buy tickets for a chance to win the sax and be his best friend...for at least 3 minutes! We should also keep drinking wine as Michael Bolton wouldn't sing until we were at all a least a bit drunk! So went the evening...great music and great humor for 1 hour 15 min. Then a break and Michael Bolton appeared...in great voice...and appearance! I was amazed that he can play the guitar and he changed his outfit three times. A long concert indeed (nearly 3 hours with intermission) so you really got your monies worth! Would I go again to see them? You bet!
Great venue, and amazing atmosphere, of course love Kenny G and Michael Bolton.
Kenny G was absolutely incredible!!! His band was amazing and they were incorporated into his show so well. Kenny G playing his saxophone was amazing. Most definitely a show I would see again! 5 stars! Michael Bolton was enjoyable. For someone who didn't really recognize the songs it was still pretty good. If I was rating his performance alone it would probably be 4 stars. He didn't really incorporate his band much, but he did play many different genres of music which was a nice change of pace.
I knew it was going to be a memorable evening, but these two gentlemen @ this particular venue; exceeded my expectations! I was pleasantly surprised with the winery, the service, the atmosphere and the shows...every seat is a great seat also. I loved it and had a wonderful time!
It has been 21 years since I have seen Kenny G live. He is just as amazing as he was 21 years ago. I have seen Michael Bolton 8 or 9 times live. He still is "The voice" and he hasn't lost a beat. My only complaint was that he didn't sing enough of his "hits". His duets with Delta really were the highlight of the evening. She can be compared to Celine Dion. She is beautiful and has the voice of an angel!! I wish that Kenny G and Michael Bolton would have done a couple of songs together.........Georgia and Missing You Now (come to mind).
We will never forget this very unforgettable event! Watching your daughter being serenaded by michael Bolton and watching our now son in law to be propose to her as he was a surprise added guest to the concert! Just seeing them so happy was priceless. To top it off we had alot of help from the staff as we were escorted to better seats and guided after the concert back stage were the newly engaged got to meet Michael b & take a photo!! Wonderful people all around!! I am pretty sure this song will be a first dance & a lifetime of memories!! Let the Bliss begin!
The concert was outstanding. Absolutely loved both Kenny G, who was amazing as always, and Michael Bolton was outstanding as well. When he sang the duet with Delta ? which was the Prayer, it brought me to tears, and he sang the best "When A Man Loves A Woman" I have ever heard. Fantastic!!
Both performances were excellent !!!!!! The artist's were friendly, humorous and candid.
both were at their best. music was fantastic, singing was wonderful
Loved them both. Very down to earth, interactive and passionate
Absolutely wonderful! I could listen to Kenny G for hours. Perfect setting, great food, I love the Mountain Winery.
Topnotch performers and captivated the audience. Very personable and what talent!
I know it is easy listening, but I would like to be entertained a bit more. The coolest thing was Mr. Powell on percussion for Kenny G. Bolton can sing - no question, but a bit boring. Loved the encore though - U2 hit "In the Name of Love". Seats were not that good and I'm not talking about the area - too many obstructions w/ rails from our seats and people standing in front of you at the rails. Very dissapointing!
awesome Show, the combination between the two was amazing. Definitely a couples event or someone who you would like to get closer two, count on this being an event that would do it. Venue was beautiful.
Both artists were fun to watch and great performers. Their band offered very different beats and sounds so as to diversify the sounds of the evening. It turned out to be a great evening under the stars.
Such an enjoyable evening from the the venue to the artists! They were both fantastic and we loved their shows. They both had wonderful bands and so versatile in their selection of music. Very entertaining!!!
I never been at a concert, but I would like they come to any time to Miami, I from Cuba and I love they music, for many years,
The staff was unprofessional and very rude- I am so upset :( Kenny G was great and M. Bolton .But Your staff not allow to enjoy concert the irritating and disturb all concert.
Kenny G was GREAT! - energetic; personable, interacted with the audience and gave us his all! He autographed his CDs before the show and even during intermission. Michael Bolton was the opposite - his voice flat and gone, lacked energy, changed his clothes more than Cher, hardly sang any of his songs (hits or otherwise), NO interaction with the audience and NO encore! His performance ended abruptly! Would have been nice for Kenny G and Michael Bolton to interact with each other; but nothing. Each had their own segment - :o(
