The event was extremely disorganized and disappointing.
Very excited to attend the first game. I thought the game was great and it's great to have this typed of rugby in Miami (Or rather northern Lauderdale). I second what some have said, in that we need more then one entrance and at the end of the day they didn't scan tickets. I can see a lot of people getting frustrated standing in line when the kick-off is about to happen in the future. Well done South Florida rugby fans for showing up. I think the only thing that would have made is more "rugby"was playing on a proper field and getting covered in mud. But I had a blast and can't wait for the next home game. Go Sharks!!!
Simply great to see good rugby on show in South Florida, hopefully it's here to stay. A few teething problems with the venue, more entrance points needed, more bathrooms also. The organization will be judged on how it responds to real problems like these. The team is new, and will need time and patience, however we will be there for the next game.
Event was well organized. If only you could control the weather. Other than that, it was a great day and great to be a part of the first ever Miami Sharks Rugby game played at this stadium.
Big Crowd for rugby. Only 1 booth for spirits, did not scan tickets, did not prepare for 4000 people, seating priority was not enforced, umbrellas were for bidden in pouring rain entire game - that's enough!
There is minimal rain covered options, umbrellas are not allowed in and considered “weapons”, no t enough bathrooms, and truly no difference in paying for a ga ticket vs a vip. It was the first game so maybe they just didn’t know what they were doing but hopefully the following games they learn from their mistakes.
So happy we have professional rugby in Florida! I will be at all the home games! Go Sharks!
