About

In the midst of a highly successful world tour, MIAMI HORROR have announced what will likely be their last Australian shows for 2011.
The June/July Summersun Tour will end a snowballing run of dates across the globe. Including incredible showcase performances at South By South West in Austin, Texas, where they blew away crowds who jammed themselves into clubs and venues. Come August, the indie-electronic adventurers will re-locate to L.A for a busy Northern summer spent performing and writing new material.
With Gold Fields joining them in support, MIAMI HORROR hit Ballarat, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Bateau Bay and Sydney. The tour launches the group's fifth single ‘Summersun' from their acclaimed full-length, Illumination.

  • So much fun

Miami Horror is so much fun and so engaging. 11/10 would see them again.

  • High energy show

    by KGG15 on 1/26/16Bowery Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Up-tempo dance rock with really engaging front men - one climbed the rafters, the other ran through the crowd. Lots of fun in a small venue.

  • Miami Horror wanted!

by Muymiyx on 1/24/16Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 2 out of 5

I'm a big fan of Miami Horror! I was largely disappointed because they didn't play at least one of their signature tracks. Either that or any songs from recent albums. I didn't recognize them at all, with their new R n B like music that they played. Perhaps it wasn't them. They came out at around 10:30pm and I was there from 8:00pm, the door opening. The place is nice. The lighting made it bearable and the pre-live music played were the type of music I listened to. Other than that, it was a bad live club music.

  • Miami Horror rocked the house!

I have been waiting years to Miami Horror. Ever since their EP with Don't Be On With Her. The wait was worth it. Miami Horror did not disappoint. They sounded great and had amazing stage presence. The show was fun all the way around especially since it was at a relatively small and intimate venue.

  • Go Aussies!

Miami Horror put on an incredible show! Members Aaron and Josh have an incredible energy on stage and are very nice in person! Make sure you get up front and stay after the show. The entire group is dynamic and upbeat. A lot of fun!! The best concert I've been to in the last year :)

  • First time is the best time

by ohsnaptori on 6/17/11Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I had seen Miami Horror live. My friend had recommended that I listen to them, and I fell inlove with their song Moon Theory. It seemed like destiny that the week after I got into their music, they came to town. Granted, it was my first show I went to alone, and that the show started at 9 and ended at 12:30 I had a great time. They sounded amazing live, and I got a lot of great photos.

  • A really fun and upbeat concert!

I didn't know much about the opening bands, I definitely came for Miami Horror. I was pleasantly surprised at how good and fun the openers were. Very exciting, full energy, the bands were goofy, and the music was amazing. I really recommend checking out all three of these bands if you don't already know them.

Miami Horror was nothing shy of great. The sound is still resonating in my mind.

Steffi Graf completely slayed it. They were way better than Miami Horror in my opinion

  • Miami Horror is a must see band.
