Miami HEAT History
Founded in 1988 as an expansion franchise, the Miami HEAT are one of the NBA's premier organizations, laying claim to 16 Southeast Division titles, seven Eastern Conference titles, and three NBA Championships. After hiring renowned NBA coach Pat Riley in 1995, the team won its first Championship in 2006, led by Hall of Famers Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, and Gary Payton. Miami then captured back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013 with their “Big Three” consisting of Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh.
In the summer of 2019, much of the team's current core began to take shape, as the HEAT drafted guard Tyler Herro, then acquired All-Star guard Jimmy Butler to round out a roster that already featured promising big Bam Adebayo. In their current form, the team has reached the Finals twice (in 2020 and 2023).

Heat game was a lot of fun for my wife, son and myself. The arena is beautiful, and the staff was very helpful. Concessions were not terribly expensive, and the in game entertainment was solid. (this may be hard to believe but I really enjoy Cleveland Cavs games a little more, even though they have less success on the court). I do have to say, however, that the Miami Heat parking situation and traffic situation is an ABSOLUTE DISASTER! I will not attend any more games while in FLA due to the the over 2 and a half hours it took me to get from the parking garage to the interstate (less than 4 miles!) I have a 2 hour ride back to Stuart as it is, and the additional parking time makes the ride home about 4 and a half hours, plus the train is still way too expensive.
It was my first NBA game and it was great but I expected more awesome moves in the field. There were only a couple of moments that mades us go "AAH!"and I wanted to see more dancing of Burnie!
The greatest sport event I’ve ever seen. Everything was awesome.
The best. Loved it. Will go again. Fav team. They make my world better.
Tickets and entrance to game was very smooth for myself and my daughter since we both were stricken with rare diseases around 2020, myself with IPF and my daughter at age 39 was diagnosed with Parkinson, she lives in Ga, but every 6 months she returns here to Miami for a followup at UHealth, so coming to the heat was great therapy for the both of us, we really the game and each other.
We leave at half time because climatisation was too cold...how it's possible?!
A fantastic show !!! Really ! For a first experience, it was a amazing experience. Thanks Miami, thanks Heat !
The Miami Heat Couldn't do it On Sunday. Makes Me wonder About March & April
The game was versus the Boston celtics and was a cold game . Good atmosphere and had good entertainment during breaks and was overall a good game to watch
Too many time-outs which ruined the flow of the game. And we don’t need constant noise from the PA system during the game. We came to watch basketball which should be entertaining enough without the sideshows.
The Miami heat know what they're doing during this homestand. 1 more win 2 make it count
beautiful arena with good and clear facilities They need to improve de exit process in the arena and around the parkings like Loan Depot Park
I loved everything about it, the game was amazing , even though Miami lost but really is a great experience to be there vs tv watching. I wish we could move to the empty seats to get closer after half time but I guess rules are rules
This was our first time in a game. My husband couldn’t believe it! He was super happy
Very nice experience as an European! I enjoyed the atmosphere very much en I liked how the crowd went crazy in this crazy stadium.
I'm not a basketball fan but as I'm visiting the US for the first time and I heard that NBA match is a must - I bought the tickets. I don't regret even one dollar spent on it, it was absolutely worth it! The game itself but also the atmosphere and everything else was just great! :)
Love the Miami Heat Looking forward for a next game to go
We always have a great experience at these games. From the entrance to uptown dogs to the ushers everyone is very friendly and most importantly helpful! Only thing I would like is easier access to take a photo with Burnie!!! I can’t afford the lower seats so I have NEVER seen burnie up close 😔
To watch a NBA basket match is an unique experience.
