Miami HEAT History

Founded in 1988 as an expansion franchise, the Miami HEAT has since reigned as one of the NBA's premier organizations, laying claim to 16 Southeast Division titles, seven Eastern Conference titles, and three NBA Championships. After hiring renowned NBA coach Pat Riley in 1995, the team won its first Championship in 2006, led by Hall of Famers Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, and Gary Payton. The HEAT then captured back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013 behind their league-altering trio, “The Big Three,” headlined by Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh. Today, the HEAT continue to build on that legacy, with All-Stars Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro leading a new era of competitive excellence.

Ticketmaster should SHOW where the seats are located in reference to the "Miami Heat Slogan" on the floor. Our seats where on the back side of the slogan ): However, we KNOW now where NOT to order tickets for a Heat game.

  • Fabulous venue to see the Miami Heat

by Royboy on 3/13/19AmericanAirlines Arena - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

Great stadium to watch the basketball or a concert. In holds around 20,000 but seems to offer good views from everywhere. Lots of concessions and souvenir opportunities and as ever at US sporting events the entertainment is great.

  • Always Great

As they say, a bad Heat game is better than, well, almost anything else. This game vs Atlanta was exciting right down to the finish. Love the atmosphere and the crowd and the music and the announcer and Burnie and the food and the action. There is no such thing as a bad experience at the AAA arena, only shades of greatness.

Amazing game. I’ll never forget it. I live in Argentina and is the 6th time I watch a NBA game on site. Everything was perfect and, in spite I am Spurs fan, I was awesome the last quarter between Heat-Warriors.

  • HEAT-credible!

by Exar on 2/5/19AmericanAirlines Arena - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

From the Heat Blvd to the pre-game dining experience to the actual game, it was amazing! The American Airlines Arena itself is beautiful, and it's a great feeling to be able to experience an all Miami Heat environment! The food is incredible, as well as the overall customer service, and there are enough shops to find almost any type of official merchandise you can think of. Surrounded by such a gorgeous view, the American Airlines Arena is, inside and out, everything you could hope for such a lovely team as Miami Heat; the scoring wasn't that great for this game, but unfortunately Dwyane Wade was not able to play. Nevertheless, the team did really good in the first half, and regarding #OneLastDance, a lot of people (myself included) supported Wade with t-shirts, jerseys, among others. The game with such talented players, the entertainment shows and the introduction of the Heat players is an exciting experience that even non-fans would be able to appreciate. The only thing you may end up regretting is not being early to appreciate as much as possible from the Arena before the game starts. By the end of all the experience, there will be only one thing crossing your mind: Can you feel the HEAT!?
