Rating: 5 out of 5 Pledge your Allegiance
by Gregadeth on 9/9/18Gramercy Theatre - New YorkMetal Allegiance was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AGAIN !!!!!!!! It's really cool to see a bunch of musicians that are truly having fun doing what they're doing. Metal Allegiance Kicked Ass from the minute they took the stage to the last note of the final song. I know I will not miss another Metal allegiance show as long as I can help it. It's worth the cost of traveling to NYC or Anaheim to see them. If you like blistering, fast, heavy, and exciting metal......Then Metal Allegiance is for you. This show was the Album release party for their 2nd effort titled Power Drunk Majesty at the Gramercy Theatre. PLEDGE YOUR ALLEGIANCE !!!!!!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Great show with the thrash metal greats
by biff34 on 2/1/18House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimA great show by a rotating roster featuring some of thrash metal's greatest artists, plus a few additional appearances. Unlike the 2017 edition which had a lot more guests, this show largely stuck to artists who appeared in Metal Allegiance's recordings - I think Nita Strauss might have been the only exception. This show was also much better rehearsed, and what it lacked in guest appearances, it made up for in a much more solid performance. The show featured a lot of great covers, plus a few MA originals, including two new songs from the upcoming album. Bobby Blitz is a great addition to the group, and he sounded great. Alex Skolnick and Mike Portnoy were reliability brilliant as usual. But for me, Marc Osegueda remains the star of this show - I think he had the best vocal performance, especially pulling off the classic scream for "Number of the Beast", despite being the last song of the show.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Metal Allegiance was great!
by GW09 on 4/11/16Gramercy Theatre - New YorkUnlike any show I've seen before. Great mix of lead singers, band members, cover tunes, and originals. Bumblefoot and Skolnick were amazing together. Only thing missing was Dave Ellefson because he's currently on tour with Megadeth. If they come around again, I recommend seeing this show!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Metal Allegiance Brought The Energy
by MKFromPA on 4/9/16Chameleon Club - LancasterThe band was incredible! Their energy was top notch, and they showed appreciation to the crowd that was behind them 100%. I felt 'bad' for these metal gods because the crowd was pretty thin. The promotion for this show was poor at best. Actually - very poor. BUT again, the band let it all out, were true showmen, and realized those of us who were there wanted to see them, and they did not let us down. I figured they did about 2/3 covers, 1/3 originals. They nailed everything they did. I actually was not a huge Chris Jericho fan going into the show, but he was awesome. His live voice was strong and he was a great showman. He interacted with everyone. I will see Fozzy if they come around. I would see any version of this band if they do more touring.
