Go to this with a dear friend, as you will be hanging on to each other with laughter! The show was 1.5 hours of wonderful music, lyrics, gags and fun. Absolutely delightful.
The actors were very talented. They brought humor to a challenging topic. Grab your girlfriends to just laugh and have fun.
It was the best Girls night out ever! Menopause had us laughing from beginning to end. I would recommend it to all tbe ladies.
it was funny, the tunes were good, the actors seasoned and only one didn't have that strong a voice---the lady from Iowa the other three were great singers and "the professional lady" was a GREAT comic-- her physical comedy was of ROFL caliber my one big complaint ---and it interfered greatly with my enjoyment of the musical--was the LIGHTING!! it was terrible! sometimes on the wrong actor, leaving the performing one in the dark--sometimes cutting off the heads while they were performing, sometimes under-lit (usually) and just generally amateurish and distracting! In retrospect, would I spend $54 to see this production? although I did enjoy it, I would not---I might pay $25. but not $54.
This was my 3rd time seeing this....Once in Vegas and twice in Rochester. I decided to take my two daughters this time. Although they have yet to experience menopause, they laughed hysterically and it gave them a little incite in to what I go through.
I went thinking it would be good but was very pleasantly surprised to see it was fantastic, an hour and a half of absolute enjoyment. I've never seen my wife laugh so hard for so long. Although us men were vastly outnumbered by women I would recommend it to all husbands, especially of post menapausal wives.
This show has got to be one of the funniest shows touring right now!! I never saw an entire theatre laugh through an entire show. The music was phenomenal! I will definately see this show again if it comes back to my area & I will be taking a boat load of friends with me!
