it was funny, the tunes were good, the actors seasoned and only one
didn't have that strong a voice---the lady from Iowa
the other three were great singers and "the professional lady" was a GREAT comic--
her physical comedy was of ROFL caliber
my one big complaint ---and it interfered greatly with my enjoyment of the musical--was the LIGHTING!! it was terrible! sometimes on the wrong actor, leaving the performing one in the dark--sometimes cutting off the heads while they were performing, sometimes under-lit (usually) and just generally amateurish and
distracting!
In retrospect, would I spend $54 to see this production? although I did enjoy it, I would not---I might pay $25. but not $54.
