    Amazing

by BLP on 8/21/22Capital One Hall - Tysons

Happy they didn’t have an opening act and got right to it. Colin still has an amazing voice, and his guitar skills are still exemplary. He really got the crowd engaged by being funny and telling anecdotes. Great show

Colin Hay has still got it!

by 80’s rockfan on 8/21/22Capital One Hall - Tysons

Colin Hay still has an amazing voice and always has funny stories to share. The band is not the same, obviously, but IS the same as his “solo” tour. Excellent sax player!

Go to see Colin Hay: Stay to hear Scheila Gonzalez

by Jersey Jon on 8/20/22Capital One Hall - Tysons

I recently saw the reconstituted Men at Work in concert at Capital One Hall in Tyson’s Corner, VA. The theater, which had great acoustics, is actually located INSIDE Capital One’s headquarters. Anyway, the new band sounds great. Scottish-born Colin Hay’s voice sounds exactly like he did in 1983, although he may have lost a little range. But that didn’t matter because Peruvian-born Cecilia Noel’s blended seamlessly with Colin’s. The Cuban-born drummer (Jimmy Branly), bassist (Yosmel Montejo), and guitar-player (San Miguel Perez) never missed a beat and paid great honor to the original band members. But the real star of the show (after Colin, of course) was Grammy-winning, California-born saxophonist/flautist/keyboardist Scheila Gonzalez. Her woodwind playing was beyond real. No offense meant to the late Greg Ham (or Colin, for that matter), but people walked away from the showing talking about NOTHING other than Scheila’s performance. Men at Work: Go to see Colin Hay. Stay to hear Scheila Gonzalez.

    Business As Usual

by Lisa on 8/20/22Capital One Hall - Tysons

This show was absolutely amazing!!!! Colin Hay and his very talented band members from Peru / Cuban area entertained for two hours. They sounded exactly like the Eighties…… The audience interaction was great to be a part of. I’d go again in a heartbeat. I’m revisiting their early music and enjoying every minute.

    Colin Hay !

by AB on 8/20/22Capital One Hall - Tysons

Colin Hay is ahhhhmaaaazing! He is a talented singer-songwriter and his self-deprecating humor makes him as good as any stand-up comic out there. His Men at Work band features the mesmerizing vocalist Cecilia Noel and multi-instrumentalist Scheila Gonzalez. You go, girls!

    My Real Life has Begun

by Joe P. on 8/20/22Capital One Hall - Tysons

What another outstanding performance by Colin and the band. If you are a true MAW fan you will be thrilled to hear this nearly 20 song set including a few of Colin's greatest solo hits. I'd tour with them if I had the chance.

    Outstanding

    by Timmy on 1/3/22

Saw them on their first night at 'Work' in Chandler, AZ. Drove 100 miles from Tucson to see them. Well worth the drive. In addition to playing the huge hits from the early '80s, Colin romanced us with some of his more recent acoustic work. His voice was on point and he has assembled an amazing group of very talented musicians to make it all come together seamlessly. Well done!

    Awesome concert

by ELO on 12/29/21The Saban - Beverly Hills

What a great concert. Colin Hay and minute work we’re just awesome. What a great tight band. They are very good at what they do. Colin Hayes Voice hasn’t changed at all over the years. Enjoyed his banter with the audience. Very funny person. The whole second half of the concert everybody was on their feet and singing along. Also played some really good new songs for the audience. Also very nice theater, nice bar staff. Very clean. Thanks for a great evening. I needed that.

    MEN AT WORK: AMAZING!

by Stephen on 12/22/21The Saban - Beverly Hills

Men at Work, Colin Hay Lead Vocals, Better than I even imagined. Colin's vocals were superb, his humor in between songs was perfect, and the band was fantastic. Can't say enough about the night except that I'm going to find Colin and Men at Work and see them hopefully several more times! The Saban Theater finally felt like a premium venue; Hadn't been for a couple of years. They updated a lot and it shows. All in all, well worth the money I spent for my 4th row seats. Bravo!

    EXCELLENT SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by RKeylon on 12/21/21Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

Been a fan of Men at Work since high school. '83 Wanted to see them every since. Finally got to and man what a show. They recreated the notes and music just as I remember hearing it for the first time. Colin missed part of the lyrics to Dr. Jekyll and Mr Jive. He said someone would tweet about it negatively. Wrong...... Great showman and the voice never cracked once. Band was awesome. Played the majority of songs and all the hits. Don't miss it if you have a chance.

    Performance was huge surprise

by AzHerdattacks on 12/20/21Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

We all knew Colin Hay and his catalog of hits. What we didn’t know was what an outstanding band he’s put together to represent Men At Work. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. First time at Chandler Center for Arts. Now know to have dinner before the show. Concession offerings were light.

    Great Show

by PDiddy on 12/20/21Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

Fantastic show. Colin sounds great. He can still hit all the notes. The oceans were all fantastic. Scheila Gonzalez on Sax, flute, keyboards and clarinet … wow! What a talent. She makes it look effortless. Great intimate venue. First time there. Staff at the venue were very friendly as well and the concession prices were very reasonable.
