MEAC/SWAC Challenge Tickets

My experience with the MEAC/SWAC Challenge was good thank you Atlanta for hosting this game we hope to see you at the 2019 Celebration bowl in December

Parking was a good experience. Easy to work the App on my phone

Overall I enjoyed the whole stay. Exciting weekend with plenty of fun and exciting things to do.

The game was good. The bands were good. The only bad was the poor planning of concessions. Lines too long. Otherwise, my family had a great time.

The game was great. The fans were very friendly and the seating was outstanding. This is a event that I would attend again. WOW is all that I can say.

Had a wonderful time at the MEAC/SWAC challenge. However Georgia State Stadium was not ready for that volume of a crowd. The line into the stadium took nearly 30 min. Concession lines were very long. And there was a person who passed out near me and it took a very long time for emergency help to come and check on him.

Nice venue. Not prepared for the attendance. Lines were too long and awfully slow.

The game, bands and crowd were great. Parking was somewhat a hassle, but I am glad I prepaid for parking. The entrance into the gates was the slowest and most aggravating part of the event. I arrived over an hour early and between parking and gate enty i missed about 10 mjn if the game. Enjoyed it overall!

Well organized, parking was easy, good event. BC won the game, JSU won the band battle.

Labor Day weekend is my birthday and all my girlfriends came to town to help me celebrate my birthday. We all went to Bethune-Cookman College in the late 80s early 90s. Best weekend, how about the MEAC!!!!!!!

I have been to this game for the last few years. There was a heightened level of excitement that previous games did not deliver. Both schools bought a large, very engaged crowd of fans. The bands were outstanding as usual and the football game was action-packed too. One improvement: concession stands. The lines were way too long and there were not enough vendors inside the stadium selling food. This has been a concern for the past few years. More food stations need to be opened to accommodate the crowd appropriately. I actually was unable to get food so I left the game prior to the end...missed the end of game battle of the bands which I heard was typically great.

The game was not in my teams favor, but I'll support it again and again!

The game was great as well as the vending and the atmosphere.

Venue was nice and extra events - clean bathrooms and the food court had great selection

Since this was the 1st time, overall the event was good. There were a few snags that I am sure will be better next year. 12 noon is the hot of the day for Atlanta. Afternoon, evening or night time hours recommended. The bands were great. We all enjoyed ourselves and will be back next year.

Not sure if it had anything to do with the teams represented or not but the event was not well attended. The venue itself was fine and there was ample parking at $20/car. I also am unsure if the ticket cost priced out more people such as students from the respective schools. The event just was not as electric as I would have thought. The game itself was fine...descent football product. I just expected more excitement. Bands at halftime were also just so-so...perhaps not in mid season form yet. I have seen PVAMU's numerous times but this was not there A-game performance..not even close. Someone may need to quickly remind them they are a band and not a dance machine. Rule #1 in REAL marching bands is that you have to play (music) AND dance at the same time...and that you never ever ever ever put your instruments on the ground. Marching itself, musicianship, precision ---none of it was crisp. Sorry, very disappointed. However, I am a supporter of the HBCU product, so I likely will give it another chance...but just one more chance.

So glad they hosted in the GSU stadium. It was a great event and I hope they host the next one here again. Only con was that the parking wasn't advertised as much as the 4+ Ticket promo so I had to buy it separate. I didn't mind buying it separate but I know people who don't go to events in Atlanta would assume parking is included for a package. Glad I thought of it earlier before we got there. There were great concessions and the amazing King of Pops which helps on a hot day. If you want seating in the shade HERE'S A TIP make sure to choose section 200 only because 100 seating in the middle of the day is in the sun. Took my whole family an we had such a great time!
