This is the 3rd time I have seen th Gimmes live, and they never disappoint ... They are my absolute favorite band for so many reasons but spike is such a showman. He makes it so fun. I would see them once a week if i could.
Probably the worst sound system i have ever heard at a show, not to mention it took forever to get out of the venue, i feel so sorry for the amazing bands that played, because they couldnt be enjoyed to thier full potential, but spike, and the guys from me first, and the gimme gimmes wherent going to let it destroy thier night, they still came out, and gave it thier all.
Me First rocked! Great venue, awesome show and tons of energy. Overall a really good vibe! Me First never disappoints. Johnny Two Bags was a great addition to the band this time around. Highly recommend you check out the BEST COVERBAND OF ALL TIME!
This has to be one of the most fun experiences I've had in a very long time! I didn't know what to expect from the opening acts, but they really entertained the crowd. Me First & The Gimme Gimmes has to be the most fun band of all time! From the hilarious set ups for the songs ("This next song is a cover") to the great talent in the band, I just can't say enough about them! I hope they come back soon, as I would definitely love to see them again!
The Gimmes are amazing! Spike has incredible energy. Can we bottle that? The band sounded great. The audience was into all of it. The venue was perfect for this kind of event. No one got too unruly. Everyone was just there for a good time. Thank you to the band, the crew, and the staff at Ace of Spades for a great evening!!

Love this band. Different ensemble but the performance was great! Opened with Jolene and the entire place roared with energy.
Me First are my favorite band to see in person - so much fun to sing along with! Took our son to see them at Slims in San Francisco for the holidays in 2019; happy to see them on the road and in person again this past Sunday at Vina Robles!
I had seen the Gimmies about 5 years ago and it was amazing. Seeing them again was just as great as the first time. And the openers Masked Intruder and Glitter Wizard were great at starting the party!
My holiday season peaked at the ME First and the Gimme Gimmes show, it's going to be all downhill from here.
Every year I bring my kids to see Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. They are a delight to see. Always a great mix of punk rock and classic hits. The guy are very entertaining. Can’t wait for next year.

This was my first time seeing Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and I would absolutely see them again. They were tons of fun.
What an amazing, high energy show. You have to see Pears live, period. Masked Intruder brought their A game once more. And Me First and the Gimme Gimmes finished the night with non stop punk covers of your favorite famous standards. From Mandy (yes Barry Manilow) to Straight Up (uh huh Paula Abdul) they didn't disappoint. They don't tour often so catch 'em when you can.
It's been awhile since I've been to a show, and it's been a couple years since I visited The Stone Pony. I've been wanting to see Me First and the Gimme Gimmes for a long time and this show was worth every bit of waiting. I enjoyed every second of the show and it was hands down one of the greatest shows I've been too. I saw Masked Intruder a few years ago in Philly when I saw NOFX and I wasn't as in to them then, but really enjoyed them this time around. The Pears were cool too.
I have seen Me first twice now and they always know how to put on a good show and have fun doing it.

The show was a lot of fun. A little on the long side, but worth the effort. Fat Wreck does a nice job of showcasing lesser known bands on their label while saving the lovable Gimmes for the finale. The lineup was pretty good (Dead To Me & Smoke or Fire were the best, in my opinion) and it needed to be for a show that was as long as a shift of work (that's 8 hours for those who don't). All in all, love the venue, love the gimme gimmes and the rest was passable enough to enjoy. Recommended good time.
Outstanding show, great venue. Haven't seen them since Irving Plaza a few years back really missed them.
