Loved the show , third time to see it, only complaint was ticket said show starts at 7:00pm, however the doors opened at 7pm , the show did not begin until 8:50pm,brought my daughter , who had to leave by10pm to catch a train, she really was enjoying the show, had we known the actual show time we could have made other arrangements. My husband who could not get there for 7 did not come because he could not make it there with traffic until 8pm, would have made it with time to spare. The two other shows we attended started at the time on ticket give or take 10 minutes.
We particular liked listening to Max's stories. He was great, the band was great. It was fun when he brought up guests to play and sing.
Max and his band are amazing! They rocked for two hours! Max was very interactive with the audience and at one point even let a 15 year old kid take over his drum set and perform a song with the band! This is the second time that I’ve seen this show and each show is very different because the audience picks the songs. Very cool!
Max Weinberg has to be the biggest nerd in rock and roll. That said, he and his group of musicians are so frickin' talented that it doesn't even matter if he lacks the cool one expects from rock stars. Their "jukebox" style of participation is a fun change of pace and they really do sing and play flawlessly.
Two hour wait for show to begin. Max Weinberg chose to have Jazz play on the PA while we waited. Bad choice. Love the Pony...not Max.
The show at the stone pony was absolutely magnificent! Max and his band were having a blast on stage and they were totally engaged with the audience.
Have seen at least a dozen Springsteen and the E Street Band concerts and loved this as much. We sat on the side so could really see Max’s talent. Could listen every night. Amazing
Max Weinberg was fantastic. He really got the crowd involved with his personable, funny, interaction. I am so glad I attended this show and would definitely go back a second time. I purchased the Meet & Greet and Max did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, I've been to several meet & greets and Max's was the best because it was NOT RUSHED at all. Besides his Manager taking our photos and Max autographing one item, you could actually have a conversation with him. I will never forget his kindness.
This was one of the best times i have had in a looooong time! First time seeing ‘solo’ Max and I don’t think I could have been more impressed with his screaming talent and professionalism! The band and Bob Berger were equally amazing! Cannot wait for the next show!!!!
Talented group with Mighty Max! Awesome song catalog (200+)...too bad there was only time for nineteen songs. Q&A before show was very interesting and entertaining. Would definitely recommend to any rock and roll fan (and not just members of E Street Nation). Venue would have gotten five stars, except that you have to walk through an extremely smoky casino to get to the theater. That said, I anxiously await Max's return trip in the future (hope it happens!)
Max's Jukebox was a most excellent time! Great musicians playing classic tunes. Max spends much time interacting with the audience.
I was hoping for more of a professional performance, and instead it was like watching a bar band who was doing only a mediocre job of entertaining the audience.
Loved the show - entertaining, band was great, choice of songs varied - even when someone asked for one that wasn't on the list they got it done! Would definitely see again as you will hear different music since all requests come from the audience. As for the venue, sound was good and I'm very happy it was non-smoking. Unfortunately you have to walk through the smoking casino, so I felt like I smelled like an ashtray. And it would have been nice to be able to stand and move at your seats - we're listening to music that we danced to and you have to sit per their rules.
Very enjoyable show . Small, tight band , terrific lead vocal . Max interacted with audience , told some Bruce stories as we would expect , and want , and came across warm and friendly. Very likeable. Nice opportunity to see down to earth world class musicians .
It was a fun night, the audience chose all the songs the played. They had a list of 200 songs you could pick from, but they also did other songs people asked for. The band was various Jersey musicians. They played over 2 hours. Band was tight, singer was wonderful and Max was outstanding. Go see for yourself if you want music and fun.Set list will be different at each venue Show over 2 hours.
This show was so much fun! Max Weinberg and the band made the audience part of the show by taking requests from a list and by bantering with the audience. He also had a member of the audience join the band onstage to sing Thunder Road, and that guy knew every single word. We smiled through the whole show at the legendary Stone Pony. We also stood through the show, about twelve feet from the band.
Max was very engaged with the crowd. Loved the format of the show. Highly recommend for all music fans, not just Bruce fans.
Max's Jukebox was so much fun! GREAT music and entertainment. I would highly recommend.
Great show! Max was the drummer and the MC and he was awesome! He played with Glen Burtnik and the Weeklings and they have beautiful voices. It was an interactive experience where the audience requested the songs from a screen that had song titles on it. Lots of Bruce - Stones - Beatles - Eagles - everyone knew the words to every song - we really enjoyed it and thought is was a great concept for a show. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star is because there are no seats at the pony and we are getting too old to stand the entire time. A big thank you to Max - come back to Jersey soon
