Matt Mays brought it to the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, Ontario like he brings it everywhere he goes. If you haven't seen this guy LIVE, you need to make a point to do so in the future. The raw talent that just gushes everywhere is only eclipsed by the sheer emotion of a musician and performer that is completely and totally vested in his own superior work. The audience absorbed it all in utter amazement and begged for more. One of the many great things about Matt Mays is that it's not the same stale show time after time -- he switches it up, tries new things, and stretches the limit like no one else. At the end of the show, you kinda wonder how you're gonna be able to just go back to work on Monday and return to your normal life. Matt Mays has to be the coolest guy on the planet and he is the real deal -- a genuine, Grade A rocker. Keep bringin' it, Matt, and your many fans will be there to throw it right back. The friends that he brought along to help him out on stage from the Maritimes were incredible, too -- Jay Smith, Adam Baldwin, Dale Murray, Serge Samson, and Damien Moynihan. That band deserves a name.
