Can’t wait until he returns. Please bring him back with Sir!
We arrived a hour late but in time of that make sense. Parking close by was $20…which paid because baaaaabbbby the walking folks were doing was not in me. The entry pat down was very weak. We purchased lawn seats and brought lawn chairs and a blanket and dominoes to pass some time. We played on the steps (any flat surface will do😊) and I beat him. Anyway, the ladies bathroom was out of order so we used the men’s while they used it too. We all knew our assignment and had no issues. The food and drink lines were long (eat before or arrive early). The sound was a lil glitchy but still a good performance. Masego wasn’t sold out which left open seats for the taking. No mask mandate or social distancing. The weather was cool with a breeze; the venue is waterside. Check the weather and dress accordingly. The lawn is angled. Sitting with a blanket, you won’t see the stage. You’ll need to sit at the highest point of the lawn area to see the stage otherwise check for the projector screen visual. You have the option to stand as well. The lawn area isn’t a huge area fyi. Leaving the parking area wasn’t too bad…close parking on streets. Enjoy and have fun!!! Oh I seen 💨 💨 in the air…use your judgement 420 friends.
I loved Masego's portion of the concert. I was disappointed that the 2nd opener went way too long and cut into his time. Masego felt rushed and was shorter than I expected. That did bum me out but what he did sing and play were phenomenal. I can't wait to see him again!
Masego is a talented, energetic performer who knows how to entertain the crowd. He is very gifted vocally (sounds amazing life) and plays the saxophone very well. I highly recommended seeing him perform live, must see!!
Masego showed so much love for my city in Detroit, Michigan! We were so blessed to have him and his group, and I can speak for every single person in the crowd when I say that. Lovely artist and talented performer. Come back soon (:
All performers were great but Masego was lit he came to the stage ready to give us the whole Masego experience and didn’t disappoint
I’m from illinois & have been waiting to see him since 2016. Definitely worth the drive. That man put on a show & it was hands down one of the favorites i’ve ever attended. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
He was bringing a good concert but not only did the mic go off during one of the best parts of a song, it happened multiple times. The entire concert, the music is just overdriven, think distorted bass and loud speakers but everything overdriven, that it drown out the artist vocals. When the music was not playing could barely understand the artist. Such a dis-service for the artist. This reminded me why stopped going to former Chene park now Aretha Franklin Amphitheater . It could be such as awesome experience with all of the updates in the area if the sounds system is fixed.
Seeing Masego in person was a dream come true! I jam to his music all the time so actually seeing him irl was amazing!
I’ve been to a lot of concerts in my life and this is DEFINITELY at the top, probably number one. Masego did not disappoint
The show was amazing, he sounds really great live. Would definitely see him again.
I didn’t realize how amazing a performer could be until I saw him in concert. Provides a phenomenal show and engaged with the audience throughout the entire show. Also he performed all of my favorite songs so I had the time of my life.
This man Masego is amazing. He interacts with the crowd heavily, has a voice that's better than the recordings, and performed his hits as well as the hidden gems. And don't even get me started on the sax snippets. Any time I know he's back in the city, believe I will be front and center again!!!
Masego is talented, charming, and chill while also being high-energy. Favorite show I’be ever been to.
It was an amazing show, I can’t even properly describe it!
One of the best performances I have ever seen. Masego energy was so enticing, the guy is smooth. He created such good vibes through the venue. He plays the heck out of the saxophone and his band was A1.
