A tremendously talented country singer, Martina McBride has released numerous chart-topping albums over the course of her career. Born in Kansas, McBride entered the world of country music as a teen when she played with her father's band the Schifters. She later moved to America's country music capital, Nashville, and released her debut album, The Time Has Come, in 1992. Her second album, The Way That I Am, brought McBride widespread popularity, featuring the Top Five hit "My Baby Loves Me." In 1994, McBride won a GRAMMY Award® for her song "Independence Day." Additional hit songs include "Wild Angels," "A Broken Wing" and "This One's for the Girls."

Martina proved she is a good as it gets. She had a great selection of ballads and upbeat tempo songs and never faltered on any note. One of the best concerts I have attended.
I have been a long time fan of Martina McBride but never had the oppurtunity to see here live. I will admit I was kind of worried I would be disappointed because most of the time when you see a artist in person they are not near as good as they are on the radio. Martina is the exception. She was absolutely amazing! She is soooo much better in person than on the radio. My boyfriend took me to the concert for 2 reasons...because she was hot and because it was a casino and he wanted to gamble. Now coming from the concert( where he had goose bumps on his arms) he has returned as a huge Martina fan! He says if she ever comes back around here again we will def be there and hopefully front room next time!!
Martina puts on an incredible show.Her voice is incredible she sounded amazing.
She was fantastic! Loved all of the songs. The band was great, so talanted.
This was a perfect venue for Martina. Her voice is awesome and she belts out the songs and brings the crowd to their feet. I liked that this wasn't a regular tour for her, this was a one time type concert - no opening band, just us and her. It felt more presonal and she had great interaction and conversations with the crowd. I can't wait till she comes to the area again, I'll be in line for tickets!
Martina mixed the set list up and performed old and new songs. Her voice never sounded better.
The setting was excellent.....The sound system was superb...I appreciate Martina getting on stage on time and staying on stage until the end......You got your money worth on this concert.......
Martina McBride has an amazing voice and put on a wonderful show in Lake Charles! She sang all the faves and a few new ones from her new album. The crowd was into it and she had everyone singing, dancing, and crying. She and her band did not disappoint!

Martina rocked the house..She was fantastic and her pipes are even louder and better than ever..Her voice is so gracious and yet so rocking! She can sing any type of music made and pull it off on a dime. This was my first time seeing her live in concert and there will be many more to come. I can assure you of that! She is amazing as gorgeous singing and just being herself. What a wonderful performance it was. I was floored by her consistant high notes that she hits and continues on from one song to another with no pause or being hesitant. Never lost the slightest breath between songs....Truely amazing...I can't wait for her tour in Nov. I will def be going to see her again...I was thrilled to be right up front at this one. Security kept the crowd away from the stage until she sang the first few songs. After that BAM we were welcome to be up close and personal. That was fine with Martina...She smiled big at the crowd and said....Alright lets get this party going! And let me tell you it was a very pleasing crowd. She rocked!!!!! Unforgetable night!!
Martina was awesome. I think she has the most dynamic voice and her interaction with the audience was great.
Martina is a refreshingly versatile artist. With selections that ranged from, "Independence Day", to "Heartaches By the Numbers", she was able to please any age group whether they prefer rock, old time country, or current hits. Her rendition of "Help Me Make it Through the Night" was so soulfull and dramatic---it was the best performance of this song I have ever heard, and worth the price of the ticket alone. Thank you Martina, for a great show!
Martina did all of our favorite songs and a few new ones. She kept up the excitement and sang her heart out for the whole evening. Really great concert that we will remember for years to come.
This was my second time to go see Martina. The only way it would have been better was for her not to ever stop singing. This lady has the most amazing show I have ever seen. She leaves nothing to be desired. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give her a 15!!!! We will be back to see her again, next time she is in Louisiana. Worth every penney and then some.

I went with my wife as a date night after four years of marriage and a beautiful baby girl. These tickets were a surprise because our first official date was a Martina McBride concert at the Houston Rodeo, so I thought it would be a great surprise to see her again. Martina did not let us down, the venue was smaller than the rodeo arena and therefore the show was more intimate and personable. She is a powerhouse and sounds even better in person than on her records. I am definately a life long fan of hers, we are "Blessed" that she chooses to share her music with us all.
THIS PETITE WOMAN GIVES HER ALL EVERY MOMENT SHE IS ON STAGE.HER VOCALS ARE SECOND TO NONE. I WOULD DEFINETELY SEE HER AGAIN.
There is noone that can out sing Martina. This was our 2nd concert of hers to attend. We have been to a ton of concerts & none compare to hers. I met her in 1992 & had a pic with her...her husband John is part of her lighting crew & was sitting next to us at this concert. I showed him my pic & he took me backstage to meet her again!!!
Martina is so amazing. If you can't get to her concert, at least get her Live In Concert CD/DVD. Before you die, you have to see this woman live!! She puts on an amazing show! She connects with her audience and includes them in things. Her voice is amazing! You just gotta go to her concert!
