Doors opened late. But once we got in, service was friendly. First act was good. Marsha Abrosius was outstanding. She's really got something with her current direction. It was wonderful for a good program to support youn people.
I must say that this show was so personable in so many ways. Marsha wowed us with her powerful soulful (but unique) voice that gives me chills every time I listen to her. She is my morning coffee on the way to work and stress release time on my way home from work. I can truly say that Marsha has set the bar very very high for other singers. In person she sounds just the way she sounds on her album.
This was one of the best concerts I have ever been too...she was awesome. What a voice, very talented. Can't wait to hear more from this artist.
The sound quality was quite awful especially for the ticket price. I expected higher quality acoustics, but the sound was not impressive. Instead, the performers' vocals were muffled by the bad speakers.
I wish this event was somewhere else. Marsha Ambrosia is an artist of the highest order. Hearing her vocals made me forget that too many people were in attendance to a place that could hold a lot less, the seating was terrible, and the opening acts were also. Catering was great (I was VIP) but other than that we had to wait outside in the cold for at least 15 minutes and we brought VIP tickets months earlier. Also the charity event that sponsored it tried to outshine Marsha, even going so far as call her back after her set..Super tacky. I would have seen Marsha in someones basement the sad thing is thats what it seemed like I was doing. The Beamont sucks..Oh yeah to the hostess who shrugged when I told her I needed a seat for me and my wife...Thanks for surprising me by really being concerned and getting us some seats.
Over all Marsha's voice as great her spirit just soars when she opens her mouth to sing, she gives you goosebumps, it was an intimant performance, her interaction with the audience was wonderful, they new all the words to her songs and she captivized us with her voice he is an amazing artist!
Marsha Ambrosius was phenomenal. She really played to the crowd. And I could tell they were trying out stuff to see how it played since she is about to go on tour. The rest of the performers were phenomenal as well.
Marsha overexceeded my expectations for this show. She came right out singing her heart out. She even throuh in a couple of old songs in there, for instance, Mary J real love.
It was amazing, i was there covering a story for my College, i had a blast. Chilled backstage and had a great interview with Ms. Ambrosius.
I have always been a fan of Marsha Ambrosius since her Floetry days. And, NOW my goodness Marsha Ambrosius has made a presence like no other. The audience received her the moment she stepped center stage and began the vocal enlightenment that ONLY she could produce. This is a must see show, I would see her again and again. I am a fan for LIFE.... If you haven't purchased ( and I did say purchased!!!) her latest project "Marsha Ambrosius- Late Night and Early Mornings". Please do so all 13 tracks speak to your soul and will cause reflection and/or require you to take action. Again, GREAT SHOW!!!!!!
