Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hop Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto your stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime. Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure follows all of your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.
A special one-hour presentations for kids (and parents) of all ages. Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore and an upbeat score, Madagascar will leave audiences with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!” All performances followed by a Question & Answer session with the cast.
Please note: all patrons, regardless of age, need a ticket.
I have been taking my 3 oldest grandsons ( ages 7, 5 and 5) to the Marriott for 2 years. The Children’s Theatre is awesome I highly recommend it! My grandsons love going and can’t wait for the next show! I’m sure their 2 younger brothers will enjoy it when they are old enough!
We always a day out at the Lincolnshire Theater. This year Madagascar was just wonderful. All 3 of my kids enjoyed the play. The only suggestion I would have is to tell the ticket and users to relax some. They run around telling people to move and act like it is a adult Theater. This is a kids play so relax a little.
I was a little apprehensive about bringing my 9-year old grandson, thinking that he may be a little too "old" for the performance. He SERIOUSLY LOVED it! As did my husband and I. At one point he turned to me and asked how much longer this production was playing, so we could bring our other two grandchildren to see it! It was a great choice for the beginning of our birthday celebration for him prior to taking the train to the city. The energy of the performers on stage held the little ones mesmerized, until they were invited to get up and dance during the finale! I wish we could have taken a photo of the cast, possibly during the question/answer portion after it was over.
The girls loved the show and the close proximity to the stage and actors were exciting to them. It is good to provide an outlet that is more memorable than just an iPad or TV and to promote live theater!
The Madagascar was great! Both my 4 year old and my 1 year old enjoyed this musical and I enjoyed it as well :)
My whole family loved it! I recommend this show for all, it's fun for the whole family.

My girls 3 and 6 years old LOVED it! I also thought it was super cute and entertaining!
I was really impressed with this performance! They always do a great job but this show was just so much fun! I think it is good for any age.
