Mark O'Connor Tickets

Performances by both the Vega String Quartet and Mark & Maggie O’Connor were sterling! The Ticketmaster monopoly… not so much. Three discussions dominated the lobby before showtime: 1. The remarkable, respectful, long-awaited resurrection of this classic Charlotte landmark. Bravo! 2. Anticipation of the musical events of this grand reopening. While we’ve come to expect the O’Connor’s performance wizardry, exemplars of their art, the Vega quartet was new to me. I’ll look forward hearing them again. Bravo, again, to all performers. 3. What a PITA Ticketmaster is. Consensus I heard was that if it weren’t a monopoly, people would shop elsewhere for tickets. Many were wondering if they could simply walk in and purchase tickets without the Ticketmaster Tax and jumping through all the Ticketmaster hoops to make what should have been a simple, online purchase.

Not into Bluegrass music, but we all loved seeing The Carolina Theatre... it's beautiful!!!

This show was terrific - what talent! We hope they come to Knoxville every Christmas - we'll be there.

Mark O'Connor played by himself which was amazing, but the highlight was the many duets with his (very pretty) wife. She is awesomely talented. The duets were jaw-drippingly good. This was a performance I'll never forget.

Amazing, First time at Clowes Hall, first time to watch ballet, first time to sit in front row, first time seeing Mark O'Connor what an unbelievable musician! I was in awe!

Enjoyed the whole program! Great dancing and music!

The dancing was exciting, creative, unforgettable. The percussion and jazz ensembles extraordinary. Congratulations to Butler. The evening was entertaining and professional in all respects although a bit long. We will be back very soon.

Didn't know what to expect, but thoroughly enjoyed the evening of Butler students performing with a world class violinist and choreographer!

The music was awesome (loved the percussion) and the dancing was phenomenal. What a beautiful auditorium! Originally got the tickets for my daughter and I, but decided she should go to bed as scheduled on a school night. Perfect date night with my husband!!
