About

Through his relentlessly punchy writing and expert delivery, Mark Normand is quickly becoming one of the most talked about comedians on the scene. He most recently self-released a one-hour special "Out To Lunch" on YouTube, which has quickly amassed over 2.4 million views. An extremely prolific stand-up, he previously had a one-hour and a half hour Comedy Central special and has made an unparalleled seven appearances on "Conan," three appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," and one appearance on both "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and "The Late Late Show with James Corden." Mark can also be heard on his multiple appearances on "The Joe Rogan Experience," dubbed by Jerry Seinfeld as the "best young up and coming comic," or on his own podcast "Tuesdays with Stories."

Born and raised in New Orleans, surprisingly to two normal parents, he spent most of his childhood making short films and wetting the bed.

Love Normand, easily one of my favorite comics. Wish he had done more new but good show nonetheless!

    Did not disappoint

by Morno on 8/31/22Aura - Portland

Intro comics left much to be desired. Being drunk or high does not make you funny. Mark Normand on the other hand did not disappoint. I’ve seen many clips of Mark online and his stuff here was new. Also appreciate how he goes “adhoc” and just pings the audience for topics. Highly recommend his show!!

    Awesome show

    by TnTbowman88 on 8/31/22Aura - Portland

I enjoyed the venue which was small and intimate. I thoroughly enjoyed the comic we went to see, Mark Normand but the host and additional three local comics was a appreciated and nice addition to the show. The drinks were AMAZING and loved the bartender too! Loved loved loved all of it!

    Zinging and Zanging

by Joe on 8/31/22Aura - Portland

This fella sure knows how to bring the heat. If you are afraid of touchy subjects I recommend you stay home. But if you're cool and know that what's being said are just jokes, you don't wanna miss this guy.

    Mark Normand is the BEST!

by Chems on 7/11/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

The Vogel is a very cool place; it was perfect for Mark Normand's stand-up which, as awalys, was top-tier. Make no mistake: MK is one of the best comedians out there and, in a fairer world, he would be as famous as Burr, Chapelle and other present day comedy-beasts. MK joke writing skills are incredibly smart; he's quick, resourceful and very relatabe. if MK doesn't convince that stand-up comedy is a true art, nothing will.

    Mark Normand

by Jimmy D on 7/11/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

Mark is witty, and his jokes are very clever. Always interacts with the crowd, too. I’ve seen him 4 times now, and he never disappoints.

    Great performance bad seating

by Mike on 7/11/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

Mark Normand and his opening act were awesome. The venue was clean and had a great beer selection. My biggest disappointment was the seating arrangement. I knew we were up in a balcony type seat but they had our table behind two other tables. So we had to watch the show on the TV or look through like the small crack between the people in front of us. It was really poorly setup seating and I would’ve bought different seats had I known that was how they laid out the tables. So the experience wasn’t everything I had hoped but the comedy was awesome.

    Anti-Semitic

by Mel on 4/19/22Lincoln Theatre - Washington

One of my grandparents barely survived Auschwitz, making a “your grandparents are ashy” comment is simply not funny. His show also fell on Passover weekend, clearly he doesn’t care about our holidays and what Passover especially means to us. I can take a joke as much as the next person, and can appreciate jokes about my faith/my people (it’s true, we love bagels and cream cheese but can’t digest dairy - makes no sense) but I will not tolerate someone making light over genocide. One person stood up and left and Mark commented “oh we lost another Jew”. I left after that as well. I would encourage Mark to reevaluate his “jokes” and consider rewriting his content to focus on ANY other topic around the Jewish faith.

    Mark Norman Stand Up Performance

by Dave O'Shea on 4/18/22Carolina Theatre - Durham

The seats at the Carolina Theatre were comfortable for the age of the venue and I had a pretty good view of the stage. Mark's stand up performance was good but he seemed to have run out of material in the last 15 minutes of the show and there was much silence. Overall a decent stand-up performance.

    Killer performance at great club

    by Z. T. on 7/1/21

Trekked down from Tulsa with a girl to see Mark Normand and he lived up to the hype from his specials and videos online. He is a killer joke-writer and performed the jokes live at a stunningly precise rate. We had a great time. Was sort of a bucket-list thing to see him live and I am glad he came to Bricktown in OKC. Had good geographical humor about OK too.
