Marina brings such an amazing mix to pop music. I wasn't sure how she would translate on stage but she exceeded my expectations. She was so entertaining and her voice was amazing live. The graphics behind every song were awesome too! this girl has got it all!!! Check her out!!

This is the way concerts are meant to be!

by ThePhantomReviewer on 6/23/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

In a small venue with a capacity of a few hundred, you can actually tell you are watching a real human being, instead of a computer graphic simulation. Trouble is, you have to catch the rising stars before they graduate to venues with a capacity of many thousands. In Marina's case, that transition is imminent!

    Burger Queen reigns supreme!

by spenceryarman on 6/23/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This show was awesome! I went last time, which was her opening, and its was so cool to see her on her second to last showing of the same tour! She played some new songs, kept the crowd pumping, even when her keyboardist had a snafu and played a wrong track, she went with it, singing with it and then a capella! Such a fantastic singer and performer! Her opening band, Stereo Telescope were awesome! Kept everyone high energy, and had a great time. Marina is a singer not to be missed! Had a blast!

    Marina was good, clean fun.

by Fredrika on 6/23/11Webster Hall - New York

I enjoyed this concert for a few reasons. 1) Marina is beautiful and adorable. 2) It was fun and light-hearted for the most part. 3) I enjoyed the venue. It was small but nice and I was able to see Marina by standing off to the side. 4) I love Marina's voice, which is half her appeal to me. 5) It was a pop concert, so I wanted to hear her pop singles, all of which she performed. 6) She played a 10-20 minute encore with her on piano. My biggest disappointment would definitely had to have been the fact that she just sort of played her songs through, not my personalization. But furthermore, that the set was only 1 hour long. I was very pleased with the ticket prices, as $30 after tax for a show these days is not too expensive. However, I was expecting for her to play more than just an hour. Overall, I enjoyed it because it was, as I said, just some good ol' clean, dancey-sing-a-long funs, but nothing completely mind blowing or life changing.

    Great music, great performance

by misslily718 on 6/23/11Webster Hall - New York

Marina is absolutely delightful and has a strong voice and a totally original sound. Think Queen meets Lady Gaga meets Regina Spektor? Webster Hall was also a fun venue to see a show especially from the balcony area.

    Marina is so sweet!

by Ly0ns on 6/23/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

The opening act wasn't that great, my opinion, but when Marina came out it was amazing! I just wish it lasted longer! :) She always puts on a great show and is very nice and sweet with her fans.

Liked her videos, loved her live!

Marina is much better live than recorded. A great voice with a true connection with her audience.

Great as always, but treading the same ground.

by WhinyMcGee on 6/23/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Despite the additional visual effects, her setlist has remained more or less the same as it was last fall (though there was a new song added to the mix). It's a definite must-see if you haven't seen her before. Otherwise, you might want to skip it until she comes out with new material (which I hope she does!)

    Marina Killed It!

by DCRockStar on 6/23/11Webster Hall - New York

I have loved Marina & the Diamonds for a few years now. Her lyrics are well-written, thoughtful, and relatable. She is such a refreshing musician! I had never seen her perform, but had always loved her quirky and unusual videos. She did not disappoint! She was energetic and personable. 3 costume changes as well! She definitely wants to be taken seriously as a musician, which is evident in her not wanting to sexualize herself too much as confirmed by her costume choices. The crowd was into it, and we had a great time watching the magic that is Marina & the Diamonds!

Marina was even more unbelievable in person

by jaymeelee on 6/21/11The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

Marina and the Diamonds were even better than I expected live. I will absolutely have to see them again. I do wish that there was a little less time between the performers. Also, my boyfriend and I were not allowed to leave and walk on the beach during the time in between the performers because he is 20. We were also rudely questioned when asked why we wanted to leave. So take note that even though the concert may say all ages, the stone pony has no re-entry under 21. I give the performers 5 starts but the stone pony a 2 because the woman bartending was very nice.
