Marilyn and Billy still have it!

by MBLIVE on 11/9/10Hark Rock Hotel and Casino - Biloxi

Marilyn and Billy still have it! I talked family into attending with me, who were not really fans...at least before the show. Now, they are converts as a result of experience. Marilyn and Billy looked wonderful and sounded even better. The duo, along with the accompaning musicians were at the top of their game. So much so, that afterwards, my mother, who had attempted to get out of going at the last minute, couldn't stop thanking me for inviting her. The show had a wide variety of songs, paced just right, that showcased the duo's professionalism and obvious talents. It confirmed what I've always known, that the duo LIVE is AMAZING! .

Great singing with lots of soul and fun!!!

by dixieartist on 11/9/10Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. (former members of The 5th Dimension) are consummate professionals! Their singing abilities still shine as ever; but they also have great chemistry and playful banter with each other that they convey with the audience. They take the crowd on a time travel of their musical careers while adding some of their favorite songs of other artists as well. Great songs from the 5th Dimension include: "Up, Up and Away", "Go Where You Wanna Go", "Wedding Bell Blues", "Stoned Soul Picnic", "One Less Bell to Answer" and the show climax, "Aquarius, Let the Sunshine In". Billy adds some very soulful flavor to the show with: "Try a Little Tenderness", while Marilyn serenades the crowd with the torch song from the Clint Eastwood move, TRUE CRIMES; "Why Should I Care" and "Can't Help Loving That Man of Mine", from SHOWBOAT. Overall a joyful experience!

Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr sound as good as ever and made a fun evening at their show. They said they had celebrated their 40th anniversary and my wife and I just celebrated our 50th.

    Very professional

by Diga on 11/7/10Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

I thought they were great. Marilyn's voice sounds better in person than on records. She is still going strong as well as her husband Billy. He was very good also. They are true professionals. She could sing opera, she is versatile.

They were great! Did the old favorites and some new things. Marilyn's voice sounds as good as ever and better in person. She is an incredible singer, and Billy is good also. Both are great entertainers.
