Marilyn Manson on Tour
Although a shock-rock persona made Marilyn Manson a target of criticism in the '90s and early '00s, the hard rocker today is a highly respected, Alice Cooper–like figure. That comparison holds for Manson's flamboyant, aggressive music — combining influences from industrial, metal and glam — and flashy live shows, which boast ornate costumes, dizzying light shows and impressive staging. Appropriately enough, Manson toured with Cooper in 2013 on the Masters of Madness Tour, although that trek was simply one of his many well-suited live gig pairings. Back in the '90s, he opened for fellow metallic electro-rockers Nine Inch Nails, while in 2018 and 2019, Manson toured with Rob Zombie on a trek dubbed Twins of Evil. Around his own tours, Manson has also performed at major rock festivals such as Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Download and Rock on the Range.
Marilyn Manson in Concert
Born Brian Warner, Marilyn Manson grew up in Canton, Ohio, and later moved to Florida and studied journalism in college. Life had other plans, though. The aspiring musician formed the group Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids in 1989. In 1993, the group signed a record deal with the Trent Reznor–owned Nothing Records, which released the landmark 1994 debut album, Portrait of an American Family. In the years after, Manson was nominated for four Grammy Awards on the way to releasing 1996's alternative-music totem Antichrist Superstar and releasing singles that dabbled in glam ("The Beautiful People"), sludgy grunge ("The Dope Show," a cover of Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams") and sizzling industrial ("mOBSCENE"). Manson also expanded his empire beyond music, dabbling in art, acting (including on Sons of Anarchy) and soundtrack work. In fact, albums such as 2015's The Pale Emperor even have a cinematic bent, courtesy of a collaboration with noted film composer Tyler Bates.

Fantastic concert! Demographic is mostly chill middle-aged adults, made for great vibes! Manson’s still full of energy and his stage presence is absolutely fantastic.
This was my fourth time seeing Manson, and I love the show every time. However, this felt like the best performance of them all! His energy and vocals were the best I have seen! Sobriety never sounded so great!! So proud of you Brian!
Marilyn Manson and his band were awesome! Powerful! Great energy! Great vocals! Great sound!
5/20/25 Marilyn Manson show. Thanks for the experience!
This show was every. damn. thing. !!!! As a single mama I could never afford concerts & such. I have a son whom is now 23 that has liked Manson since he was around 13, maybe younger & he has always wanted to see him. Making his wish come true and bringing him to his first concert to see his idol was such a great feeling! To top it off Manson absolutely rocked the venue & the show was everything he could have wanted & more!! I will forever cherish this moment & it made it that much better that Manson sounded and performed amazing!!! I can't wait to see him again!!!
It was great. He sounded great and looked good. I’m not a fan of this venue. Too many people packed in a small space. It was an awesome show because of MM.
We had a great time going to see Marilyn Manson at House of Blues in SC. We weren’t quite sure what to expect, after hearing about some of his previous shows. But we had a great time! Much tamer than we expected. It was a sold out show and the place was packed. I know it’s a small venue, but there should be more (Affordable) seating areas. And more than one restroom area. It’s not easy to get to if you’re on the far side and then try to get back through that tight crowd. But Mandi put on a really good show, and Black Satellite was awesome as well.
…the concert was during Bike Week. The parking lot was full of motorcycle business trailers and many areas roped off. Had to park in Barefoot Landing and walk half a mile. The venue was WAY too crowded. You could hardly walk, it was hot and lots of vaping. But, like I said, Manson was great. Sounded like his old self and was really into it. Just wish the HOB would update. It’s remained the same inside since the mid 90’s.
I paid for VIP and Fast Pass Entry and noticed there were two lines to get into the venue. Got into the first line only to find out that it was the wrong line. Got into the "Fast Pass"line only to find out that since I was "VIP"I was supposed to be in an entirely different line (which still gained you fast/early entry. We had one friend in our party that our headed their ticket late in the game, so they were not able to get VIP, only fast pass entry. When the doors opened to us "VIP"fast passers....our friend who was not VIP was already inside and already had a drink purchased. This was terrible considering we always do our best to be in the rail up front and the time difference in entry put us back four rows. If we are paying for all these additional items it is because we are doing everything that we can to be first in front. Being held back upstairs in the VIP entry put us behind. And that was the most frustrating thing about this venue. They also did not stop people from moshing or body surfing. There shouldve been more staff to handle that in the crowd because I don't want someone climbing will over me. As far as Manson is concerned, he was magnificent and this is the second time that I have seen him here, (last time I was on the rail up front). There needs to be clear signage on what the lines are for so folks know they are in the appropriate spot.
Marilyn Manson was absolutely fantastic. His vocals were on fire. Sounded so great and he had so much enthusiasm. The venue, on mezzanine 2, had a very poor view. Wish I would’ve sprung for better tickets.
Manson put on an amazing show from beginning to end. Vocals, andband it sounded tight. Wonderful
I wish i saw him in the 90s but this version of him is great too
What an amazing show!. Manson sounded perfect and it was such an electrifying experience to see him in his prime.
I have seen Manson a handful of times, starting in 2000. This was the best show I have attended of his. He sounded great and performed with a once lost intensity. The set list was amazing and the show was absolutely awesome.
Amazing performance by M.M I loved the show. I'll definitely consider to go again and again
The strength of Manson’s comeback is awe-inspiring. Incredible energy and great connection with the fans. He sounds and looks 20 years younger and his band- Tyler, Reba, PiggyD, and Gil are awesome too.
Me and my boyfriend had such an amazing time seeing Marilyn Manson! We have been big fans since high school and finally seeing him was a dream come true! He really puts on an awesome show! Definitely want to see him again! 😍❤️
Manson is BACK! What a show. I have followed him from the Spooky Kids to now. And trust me, there were some "rough times"in the not-so-recent past. BUT......this is a return to form! Powerful show, start to finish!
Marilyn Manson delivered a powerful performance in Montclair, NJ, showing that both he and his band are still in top form. The setlist was fierce, the stage presence undeniable, and the atmosphere electric—just the way a Manson show should be. However, one major drawback was the constant sea of phones held high throughout the night. Too many people were more focused on recording the experience than actually being present for it. This not only distracted from the energy of the show but also blocked the view for many fans who genuinely came to enjoy the live performance. Overall, it was a great night musically—but one that could’ve been even better without the glowing screens and raised arms getting in the way.
