Mariah Carey is a singer, songwriter, actress and author from Huntington, New York. Known for her five-octave vocal range and songwriting prowess, Carey is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with a record 18 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 to her name — the most of any solo artist in music history. She was amazing live, and very beautiful on stage. She and her dancers and even her kids, really put us in the Christmas spirit. It was a long few months waiting to see her and it was definitely worth it!!! Thank you Mariah for bringing Christmas to our city!!! 🎄✨

The back up singers and dancers were there all evening. Then took another 15 (?) minutes to stroll along front row signing merch. It was a great thing to do, but another 15 minutes without singing. So all in all, about an hour of her actually performing. Went to hear the christmas songs, hits of hers and traditional, and we heard them. Like I said before, very festive. Would I go again? probably not.

Mariah’s performances, which included a rotation between that a choir and a (local?) dance troupe, was what was expected and well coordinated. That worst part of the concert was the self promotion of her children in multiple skits and performance. It was a poor imitation of Kids Bop …which was a waste of time.
