MARIACHI USA Festival Tickets

First of all, I'm a son of a lifelong mariachi player, I was born listening to my father's mariachi music, but after listening to the first mariachis that opened the festival, I felt that they were very americanized, kind of a Taco Bell taco, more than the real mariachi that I grew up with. Except the last 2, which included the Camperos Mariachi who made it feel like real Mexican sound.

We’d missed the last few years of the Mariachi festival for various reasons. We were very excited about returning and it did not disappoint. All the groups were awesome and they played a lot of popularly known songs. The crowd was festive but kept composure. A well organized event.

The seats do not have dividers it’s just one long wood bench, seat space is too small, people sitting between assigned seats. Very uncomfortable next time will need a different area to sit where’s their more space

Tus is a wonderful show and the weather was perfect. We had a very good time and the service was very good. Thank you! .

Mariachi music has been a big part of my life. I enjoy it to the fullest. I always wanted to attend this event, and finally, I had the chance to witness it. It was amazing and beautiful from beginning to end. Spectacular fireworks occur at the end when all the mariachis come out to perform together. It was also my 1st time at the Hollywood Bowl. Both the performers and venue paired up perfectly. I will try to attend this event every year from now on. All the mariachis were good, but Mariachi Camperos (once upon a time, played alongside Linda Ronstadt) took my breath away. I am the biggest fan of Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan which wasn't there, but Mariachi Camperos came close. You can bring snacks and factory-sealed bottle waters, but other beverages are sold in the venue. I took my daughters to get exposed to our culture and music; it was a long concert 6pm-10:30pm, but well worth it.

It was amazing! The four hours flew by, loved the firework show at the end. It was incredible and a spectacular to hear and see. Loved it :)

This was my family’s first time attending the event, but always wanted to go. The evening started off good with a great opening act and of course we were all very excited to be there. Then the second act came on and really was not impressed. Don’t get me wrong the mariachi played well it just didn’t play to the crowd. It was more like having a mariachi band play in the background as we had casual conversation amongst us. The female mariachi came on afterwards and gave the event some life. The crowd was back into it and again we were getting excited until the next act came on. We thought that mariachi also had talent but failed to capture the crowd. They played too many original songs that nobody knew so it was difficult to follow. Then came the final act. An older but very talented mariachi that had some exciting moments but to us left much to be desired. At the end they all came out for a number and sang together. They were a bit out of sync but it was ok. The fireworks helped end the night on a positive note but still left a void in our expectations. I suggest a better MC. Sure the lady has been there a long time but she was annoying and didn’t play well to the audience. Lastly and I think most importantly, the show needs an actual headliner singer. Seeing basically the same lineup for next year left us not wanting to return again. It was more of a one and done event for us. I love mariachi music and would return if they made some changes.

So this year was not like other years. First of all the music was not mariachi style or traditional for the most part. There were only about like 7 mariachis groups and they were not motivated either. It’s safe to say that this year makes me think strive about spending all that money for a blah show

Great event, beautiful music and people gathered for magical evening. Parking needs a lot of improvement.

Like in the past years, the Mariachi Festival USA 2023 did not disappoint. I know of no other type of music that is shared by all generations, from the young kids that join Mariachi bands to their grandparents and generations before their grandparents. This music can lift you to high levels of happiness and celebration and it can also console your hurting heart. It speaks of the beauty found through the country of Mexico, its different customs and traditions that vary from state to state. It speaks of humility and the struggles of farming life and the rewards of hard work. Mariachi music is felt in the soul and for some, it runs through their veins. To listen to that special song that speaks to you can send a flood of emotions through your senses, especially the older songs and pieces that we all grew up listening to. I was thrilled to see the famous Hollywood Bowl fill to capacity with Mariachi music lover!

The gentleman sitting in front of me was wearing a huge sombrero, blocking my view. How is this allowed? When I stood up the person behind me asked me to sit down. On the other hand, concert was great!

THIS THE 4TH TIME I ATTEND THE MARIACHI FESTIVAL USA. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I WAS EXTREAMLY DISAPOINTED.IT WAS VERY BORING, THE SONG SELECTIONS WERE NOT TRADITIONAL SONGS THE PUBLIC CAN IDENTIFY/RELATE TOO, SING TO OR VIBE TO. THE MARIACHIS WERE GRADE 'D' NEW COMERS IN MY OPINION, AS IF THEY CUT THE BUDGET. I WAS EXPECTING TO SEE WELL KNOWN MARIACHIS THAT BEEN AROUND FOR DECADES AND THERE WAS ONLY 1 AT THE END OF THE NIGHT. THE MARIACHIS WERENT AS GOOD AS PREVIOUS YEARS... SEEMED TO ME LIKE AT WAS A TRIBUTE TO WOMAN MARIACHIS MORE THAN ANYTHING. NOTHING AGAINST WOMAN BUT MOST OF THE FESTIVAL WAS FEMALE MARIACHIS. I FEEL CHEATED, THEY PLAYED PESO PLUMA FOR PETES SAKE SMH IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A TRADITIONAL AUTHENTIC MARIACHI, THIS ISNT FOR YOU.

It was an amazing show and the finale totally awesome would definitely do it again next year!!!

Took the shuttle from Pasadena very easy to get into the Bowl. Performances were awesome!

It was wonderful. The only problem we had was at the entrance. We had some sparkling water in a can and unfortunately we had to throw it out. We haven't opened but it had to go to the bin. I understand they have policies but why do they sell cans just before the entrance? Anyway the experience it self was amazing! It was such a fun event. We don't listen this kind of music often but we had the best time! Musicians were speaking spanish most of the time which we don't understand but it had it owns magic. Very good event! Definitely recommend it.

Performances where all good but Mariachi Nuevo De Tecalitlan was the best and to my surprise they did not close the show. The quality of this event has declined over the years and has become a place for drunks and fights. Not a family oriented event as it was in the past. I dont plan on attending again anytime soon. Overall, love to see that the next generation is moving our tradition forward but I hope there can be a much greater appreciation for the music in the future, instead of it being used as an outlet for people to drink and get out of hand and cause problems.

Awesome music and everyone having fun and singing along to this beautiful music. Will definitely go back again. 🎶💃🎤🎵

The Mariachi Festival was amazing as always. We had such a Great time and hope to do it again next year.

This year was the best show since we started coming in 1995. We’ve not made it out every year, but have enjoyed coming when life events have not kept us away. We didn’t attend the year we got married, the year we bought our home or the year our son was born. He’ll be 26 in July. Other life milestones have stopped us from being here, but every time we come back, we plan for the next year as life milestones permit our attendance. We just love it and this year did not disappoint. See you next year for anniversary year 35 Mariachi USA!!

I hadn't been to this event in about 10 years but used to come every year without fail. The music did not disappoint. I especially loved the folklorico dancers! They enhanced the music and feeling of celebration with their beautifully bright outfits. What I was really disappointing was the security check in at the entrance. If they expect 10,000+ attendees, why would there only be 8 security check ins? It took me longer to wait to go through security (about an hour), than it did for me to park and walk up to the Bowl! Next time, give yourself double the time that you think you need so you can get through the tons of people squeezing like sardines waiting to go through the security check in. Once you're past that, you're set to have a good time!
