She is the most awesome piano player with endless energy. Last nights show was amazing. She is amazing. She had a young blind man on stage with her that played a great keyboard. He was wonderful and the audience loved him. It was a wonderful show and the theater was small enough to be up close and personal with the musicians and shake their hands.

The saxaphone player was just incredible and the young blind keyboard player will simply blow you away.. This is truly one of the best concerts that you are ever going to see. DON'T MISS IT!!!!!

by flyquack on 1/10/10The Plaza Theatre - OrlandoI would like to have heard Marcia's voice more clearly than the band. The band was great but she was, of course, the best. the band drowned out her voice....Marcia is great!!!!!!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Marcia Ball
by BeShe on 7/14/09The Ark - Ann ArborTotally enjoyable evening. Now that we have actually seen the concert it makes listening to the CDs even more enjoyable. The energy and enthusiasm of the group was contagious. It is amazing how Marcia can keep all parts of her body moving at once and seemingly enjoying every minute of every song. Bought 2 tickets for this concert and plan to purchae 6 for the next time she is in the area.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Marcia Ball at the Arc
by BlueShoes on 7/14/09The Ark - Ann ArborMarcia Ball is one of my favorite acts to see when her band comes to Detroit. Marcia's Boogie-Woogie Down Home Blues style piano playing makes everyone feel good. Marcia's band complements her perfectly and their music make me want to vist New Orleans. The Arc is as intimate a theatre as there is and Marcia Ball is one of the best shows I have seen there. Peace, Love and Barbeque!
