His first performance after nearly a year was not a disappointment, even as he and his bandmates got their sea legs back. True professionals who put on a most enjoyable and thoughtful show. I can't wait to see him again!
I loved Marc Cohn’s show at The Birchmere. I’ve been a fan for years and was thrilled to see him live at one of my favorite venues. It was touching to see and feel how happy he was to be there Great night!
The performance of course could not have been better. When you have Shawn Colvin, Marc Cohn, & Sarah J, with all of that combined talent on stage, you can't leave without saying you experienced one of the best concerts for all ages. I've been a huge fan of Shawn & Marc's music since the late 80's & now hearing a fresh new talent like Sarah I'm happy to have new folk music to listen to. The Ryman is a magical place to see concerts and this one was magical & I have seen quite a few there. That night, I was also impressed with the safety protocol the staff followed, a concern I had during these f'g COVID 19 times. The staff was great!!! Thank you to all & keep it up. Cheers!
The Ryman! First time going. Such a big, yet intimate venue. Knew of Marc Cohn, so talented, but what a pleasure to hear Shawn and Sarah. Exceptional musicians all. Even a guest song with Emma Lou! Wish we could relive that concert.
I don't know if i have ever enjoyed a show more. It was pure magic to have 3 hugely talented artists perform together on that hallowed stage. You could see how much fun they were having playing together. When Emmylou Harris stopped by for a duet with Shawn Colvin it felt like life couldn't get any better!
Ryman concerts are special due to the venue (but jeeze they could pad the benches). Come into the city early, park inside across the street, take advantage of 20 - 30 food stands across the street. What talent with Sean Colvin (amazing guitar player and still has a Great voice) and great persona and stage presence. A few ribald comments were funny and appropriate! Marc Cohn took it easy and shared beautifully with his co-stars. Great introduction of talent new to me, Sarah Jarosz.
This concert was an amazing display of songwriting and musical abilities. Each artist complimented the other and it was fascinating to see them take turns performing their songs, with the other two backing up and singing harmonies. Sarah Jarosz was phenomenal and supported Marc Cohn and Shawn Colvin so well. Marc and Shawn playing their greatest hits … just amazing!
Wow, what a show! The setting was so much better than a big venue, so intimate! We loved his songs and you could make out what he was saying in between sets; he is actually quite funny!! My Husband and I just thoroughly enjoyed the evening and even got a chance at the end to meet Marc Cohn and get his autograph!! Would go again in a heartbeat!
My first time at Uptown and loved it. Very intimate (350 seats or so) and really no bad seat in the place. Nice bar area right outside the performance area and the people helping out are all extremely helpful. As for Marc, what can I say? This is probably the 8th time I've seen him and he is just an amazing performer. Never fails to put on a fantastic show (which he did even though feeling under the weather). He makes the audience feel like they are part of the show, and performed a couple of requests for a few more obscure songs toward the end. If Marc comes to your neck of the woods do yourself a favor and check him out. And if you live in the West Chester area, don't pass up a chance to see a show at Uptown.
Marc put on a phenomenal show! The place couldn't have held more than 500 people. He talked about the origins of a few of his songs which was pretty cool!
I am a big fan and I have seen him in many venues. He is always great. The venue was good, seats were comfortable. Good work Uptown!
This was our first visit to the Knauer Performing Arts Center in West Chester, PA. What a wonderful venue!! The seats were comfortable and you don't feel like you are sitting on top of the person beside you. Marc, even though not feeling well, put on a wonderful show. I was so disappointed when he left the stage that he had not sung my favorite song, but then he came back out and ended up singing it, so I was happy. He shook some peoples' hands after the show, but told them to wash their hands!! What a good guy!
Loved the concert. Small venues are the best way to see a concert. Sounded just like his recordings even with a cold. Just a little too short length wise
Marc was fighting a bit of a cold so his voice wasn't as it could have been but it was still a good show and he gave it everything he had. Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center is a fantastic venue however. There is not a bad seat in the house! If you have an opportunity to attend a show there, do it!

Small venue, great acoustics. It felt like Marc Cohn was playing in my living room! He and his musicians were truly amazing, everything you expect from an artist of his talent. Truly an amazing show.
A great night with Mark and company. Marc gets better every time. Saw him a few times in NYC. Great voice great talent. He makes the audience feel right at home. Also we love the acoustics of this venue. When Marc comes back we will be there.

My husband and I love this venue. It's a very quaint and intimate concert hall. Love Marc Cohn!! He always gives a great concert. His music is my "relaxing" music. We always see him when he comes to town.
Just an enjoyable evening. Artist spent time with the crowd after.
