Hardcore Hockey!

The Moose will host over 14 promotional evenings this season for fans of all ages, including Ladies' Night, in support of CancerCare Manitoba's Breast Cancer Centre of Hope (Oct. 25), NASCAR Night (Nov. 29), "Beat the Winter Blues" Night (Dec. 12), as well as Fan Appreciation Night (Apr. 3). Fans will also be treated to such annual promotional nights as New Year's Eve when the Moose will take on the Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves at 4:00 PM, or the Moose "Team Canada Salute" (Jan. 3) when the Moose will once again wear a special third jersey honoring Hockey Canada's accomplishments. On top of that, there will be the annual "Military Night" salute to Canada's Armed Forces on March 7 or Folklarama Night on March 27 when the Moose will welcome all of Manitoba's great cultures and heritages.

The celebrations kick-off on October 10th as the Moose take on the Hamilton Bulldogs in the 2008 home opener. Fans will receive a Moose Fridge Magnet Schedule as well as noise clackers. However, as a special prize, everyone at the game will be entered into a draw for one of three Hardcore Hockey bar fridges.

Other new giveaways include Moose Pink Ribbon hats, limited edition Mike Keane Bobbleheads, and a brand new Team Captain's Litograph.

Several returning promotions will also be featured throughout the team's schedule, including post-game autograph sessions, Smooch Cam and post-season award ceremonies.

Well the hype and atmosphere wasn’t to great

by Chino on 11/2/22Canada Life Centre - Winnipeg

Just the whole watching a farm team from an NHL team should be more exciting. The price is yes better, but the idea of watching some players that really don’t care wasn’t exciting.

The game was fine. Slow service at bar

by Angels Fan on 5/17/22Canada Life Centre - Winnipeg

I'm still bitter about how the fans have been treated for the last couple years so it makes it even more difficult for me to want to go to a game, but there is many different opinions on that. I spent the extra money for the premium seats so they were good. The concessions really need to improve I don't mind paying but the product needs to be decent, even the Tim's coffee was unpleasant. And it shouldn't take half a period to serve 10 people in the bar line.

    Moose Win!!

by Lu on 5/15/22Canada Life Centre - Winnipeg

It was a fast paced, exciting, hard hitting team win these last two games. The crowd was into the game with lots of cheering, the wave and showed their appreciation of two very well played action packed games. So on to game 5, we are cheering the Moose on to another win!

    Best bang for the buck

by 11Rypien11 on 2/20/20Bell MTS Place - Winnipeg

Love the reduction of concession prices (better prices will increase volume of sales) , love the events... Set up ropes to organize concession lines for walking traffic!!! Please turn down the music volume, it's too loud and makes hard to talk to kids and friends. Last is the drum.... Not sure who likes it, but if you're on the back side of it when staff is beating on it, instant headache... There's better ways to engage the crowd... Why not more interaction with the video screen?? Seen it at a Vegas game...

    Fun for All Ages

by blazelikethesun on 1/2/18Bell MTS Place (Formerly MTS Centre) - Winnipeg

Parking was really convenient and covered, which is particularly helpful on those sub zero days. Mick E. Moose was available for photos and was a great asset to the crowd. The bobble heads given away at the door were great. Some of the food stations were closed, but I would say the lines were still about average for this type of event. What really was fun was the music. It was really energizing and made a difference for the enjoyment. There is a very nice jumbo tron and lots of kids made it onto the screen. I didn't see a kiss cam though ;) The arena felt small and it was nice being able to pick seats online with ticketmaster. I also thought the price of the tickets was pretty affordable. I visited all 3 merchandise shops that were open and the inventory was nice at all of them. The lines getting through security at first were not very well organized and didn't open until an hour before the event. Once they started moving it went quick. I didn't realize that I had my keychain in my pocket, which is the smallest swiss army knife. Turns out, they don't allow those at all inside the event. I drank wine and I ate food. The Cabernet Sauvignon was pleasantly good. Watching the game was really fun and I would definitely go back and bring friends or family with me.

That was one of the best hockey games! From the atmosphere, to the mascot, to the ref giving my son the game puck it! It was awesome!

The Moose played just enough to win. No extra effort. Music was consistently loud, no reprieve with different style of music other than heavy metal.
