A great variety of songs. Great musicians and arrangements. Her verswion of "Que Sera, Que Sera" was so much better than Doris Day's. A knockout dress. Super personality. She was in the back at the end of show and I was lucky enough to get a photo with her.
Prior to seeing Mandy Gonzalez in concert, I only knew her for reputation as star on broadway...In the Heights, Wicked and Hamilton. I was curious to see how she was in this intimate concert. She was fantastic! She had just released her first album and sang each of her new songs (many of which had been written by leading broadway song writers). I had listened to her new album a few times, but to hear her perform the songs live made more powerful and I loved each one. In addition, Mandy was genuinely excited to be on tour to promote her new album and told some personal stories about her life and family that were touching and inspiring. Mandy has a strong voice and engaging stage presence. I was very impressed and would rush to see her again.
She - and the musicians who accompanied her -put on a fabulous show. She also provided some local high school students the opportunity to sing back-up with her on the song “Fearless.” She is entertaining and talented. Highly recommend.
