The BranDisa Tour with Brandon Heath & Mandisa was good. Special guest Lindsay McCaul was phenomenal and my favorite part of the concert.
Sammy, an African-born pastor from Ohio, spoke on behalf of Food for the Hungry, a child-sponsorship organization that is being highlighted on the tour. I recognize, appreciate, and support the concern for poor and hungry people and the importance of food to alleviate hunger especially among children. The right to food is a basic human right. My wife & I have taken in two orphan children who were marginalized and living in poverty.
Sammy’s presentation was very enthusiastic and passionate in delivery. However, it was too long, lasting over 20 minutes, and kept the audience hostage which created loss of attention and effectiveness. An intermission followed the conclusion of the presentation. Too much time was spent on the presentation and intermission.
