About

GRAMMY® Award-nominated songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Wolfgang Van Halen continues to separate Mammoth from the pack. The music stands alone on a foundation anchored by his impressive sonic proficiency (across drums, bass, keys, and guitar) and airtight arena-size hooks with unforgettable vocals. He harbors an irresistible signature sound, inventive vision, and incomparable identity vaunted by a fervent global fanbase. For as unique as the music is, his story so far proves to be just as unprecedented. This is arguably the first hard rock act to genuinely break out from ground zero in the 2020's, generating north of 100 million streams, toppling charts, and selling out headline tours less than five years since its debut. Back in 2021, Mammoth's first offering, Mammoth WVH, took flight, bowing at #12 on the Billboard 200 and capturing #1 on three Billboard charts--Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Independent Albums, and Top Rock Albums. "Distance" soared as the first of two #1 Rock Radio Hits and earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination for "Best Rock Song." Two years later, Mammoth II only saw him pick up the pace. It debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart in addition to bringing him back to #1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart. It incited widespread applause from Rolling Stone, Guitar World, GRAMMY.com, Classic Rock, American Songwriter, and KERRANG! The band canvased the globe with Metallica and Pantera and supported Foo Fighters in North America as well as filling houses on their own. They performed on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, at MusiCares 2024 gala in honor of Jon Bon Jovi, and Wolf took the stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® Induction of Ozzy Osbourne. Now, Wolfgang pushes forward on Mammoth's third full-length solo LP, The End [BMG].

by WendyO on 9/15/21Rating: 5 out of 5

I am a huge Van Halen fan and wanted to go see and support Wolfgang. I have the CD and was excited about the show. WOW!!!!! What a show! Him and his banded jammed and rocked it out!! My husband and I were very impressed. He seemed genuine, when he thanked everyone for coming, several times! I would recommend this show to anyone! Valerie was even there cheering on Wolfie. I am sure his dad is beaming down and is so proud of him! Rock on Wolfgang!!!!

Only issue was no opening band, show didn’t start til around 9. However, when he took the stage he owned it, shuffling through his catalog and interacting with the audience, who were more than ready to rock. Glad to have seen him in a smaller venue, as he had time to get into deeper tracks. Sound was great, rhythm section on pint as well. Would like to see him again!!

Don't ever buy tickets that can't be re-sold. I changed my mind about going, and I was stuck. Never again.

  • Disappointing

Band was one hour late, no explanation or apology was given. Instruments were too loud, vocals too low.

  • Great Show!

    by rtomlinson on 9/1/21Rialto Theatre-Tucson - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

Mammoth WVH was on fire! I actually never heard a song by them before i walked into this show. The melodies were solid, vocal harmonies were spot on, solos were all creative, and this band is tight. They have their own sound (nothing like old classic Van Halen) and they are a really great band. The venue was great too.

  • Rocking time

    by Robern on 9/1/21Rialto Theatre-Tucson - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

Although a late start it was indeed worth the wait to hear wolf's music live and loud. Had a fabulous time at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson. Staffs were helpful. Atmosphere was great and the band were totally rocking hard as Wolf's vocals seared through the crowds and Wolfgang threw me his guitar pick awesome. Just wished he could have signed my Peavey Wolfgang sunburst guitar!!!

  • A little underwhelmed

by Mel on 8/26/21Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

Way too short! Wolfie is a great singer and played the guitar like his dad (almost).

  • Best show I have seen.

by Jerry on 8/26/21Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Wolfgang and company blew me away with the live performance. The band was on point and I always love seeing bands live and they sound like the album. Wolf put together a very awesome group of guys to help support him on the road. Just a all around amazing live performance. Highly recommend seeing him if you get the chance.
