Maluma on Tour
Maluma is his own one-man show, a breakout star who successfully has married Colombia's nonstop tropical pulse with the swagger of reggaeton, adding a dash of romance for good measure. As one of the world's top urban Latino stars, he's (at least) a triple threat — a vastly talented singer, composer, and dancer who is also a judge and coach on La Voz Kids Colombia.
Maluma's live shows are, simply put, fire. Imagine a male Shakira, and you're halfway there. He brings the audience into the performance throughout, changing up beloved hits by slowing or speeding the tempo, or even transforming a song into salsa. He sold out Madison Square Garden in 2018, and his tours include the 2019 F.A.M.E. Tour as well as his first global headlining tour, 2016-17's Pretty Boy/Dirty Boy World Tour, which took him to Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America as well as Latin America.
Maluma Background
Maluma was born Juan Luis Londoño Arias in Medellín, Colombia, in 1994. He grew up playing soccer religiously, but he always showed an aptitude for music, winning a singing contest in 10th grade and officially writing his first song at 15.
When his uncle gifted him with studio time for his 16th birthday, a team of producers unexpectedly offered him the chance to record a full album. Their one condition was that he'd have to find a catchier name, so Juan Luis took the first two letters of his mother's, father's, and sister's first names, and "Maluma" was born.
Fresh out of high school, he launched his first single, "Farandulera," in 2011. He signed to Sony and debuted his first album, Magia, a year later. It was certified gold in Colombia, and Maluma began cleaning up at awards shows, winning both Shock and MTV Europe awards for Best New Artist.
His chart-topping 2013 single "La Temperatura" opened even more doors, and major collaborations followed: "Desde Esa Noche" with Thalía, "Chantaje" with Shakira, and "Vente Pa'Ca" with Ricky Martin, among many others. His next album, 2015's Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy, launched numerous hits and soared to the top of the charts, as did the 2018 follow-up F.A.M.E. In addition to rocking global audiences with his sweet reggaeton/pop/tropical mélange, Maluma also fights racism and is an outspoken champion of LGBTQ rights.
One of the best concerts I've been to lately. His energy, his charisma and the show!!! Simply wooowwww!!! Loved it from beginning to end!!!!
Maluma is a true entertainer - keeps it fun, is engaged with his audience and is always humble and grateful. This is the second time I am able to see him and if he comes to Miami again I will sure to be there again. So much fun.
I loved the whole concert, I enjoyed it from the moment the concert started. Maluma has always been my favorite artist and it is amazing to be able to see the process of evolution he has had over the years. Listening to everything from new to the oldest songs was exciting. Being able to sing the songs at the top of your lungs and dance is always great to enjoy with your partner or friends. I hope to be able to have a Maluma concert soon to continue enjoying his music and spending time with family or friends.
This was the most amazing concert I’ve ever been to! Maluma is so passionate and he loves his fans. The staff was nice and organized. I had the most amazing time and will be back again. The best ever!!!!!
great show ...........................................................
Everything was cool short line quick accesssibilty and good customer service
Exceeded my expectation! He sang all the great songs
Maluma is a great and kind artist, he really cared about making everyone enjoy his concert, he knows how to involve people!I love the fact that he went from front stage to the back stage! The Kaseya though should have bandage available, I asked to few security people and they said no, that’s not good as anything can happen.
Maluma is a great performer and singer. His concert was amazing, full of energy and my family and I enjoyed it very much. Will definitely attend his next tour!
What a performance. Loved the show. He sang all my favorite songs. One of the best concerts I've been to.
The truth is that I went just to accompany my sister and my wife because I don't listen to that music, and it was definitely disappointing. 1.- Mr. Maluma came on stage more than an hour and a half late and his concert did not last 2 hours. 2.- The food and drink concessionaires closed at 10:15pm and Mr. Maluma only had about 25 minutes singing. 3.- To complete the unforgettable negative experience, first time in my life that I see that in a concert, an artist repeats songs, such was the case of the song Hawaii (that's what I think it's called), he sang it as part of his repertoire initial, and it was the song with which he returned to the stage to close the night 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. 4.- Something to highlight (as always) is the organization and kindness of the Kaseya staff.
Maluma’s video recordings are a delight. I would suggest he listen to a live recording and critique his sound engineer. It might be the Arena acoustics and not the engineer’s fault. Unfortunately I found the performance boring because the sound was monotonous.
Excellent concert!!! Sound and visual effect excellent too!!! What can you say about Maluma???? Best ever!!!
He is Awesome! Excellent show! I love him! I’lo be there next time he make a concert.
Lasted 90 minutes of which included three 5 minutes breaks for wardrobe changes and sang the same some twice. Total waste of money.
Concert was great once her started. Tbh I had gone because my daughter is a fan. He was very entertaining. The arena was way too cold though. I needed thermals instead of a cute outfit.
Maluma was great, but concert started 1.5 hours late… i get a 30-45 min delay but not cool to have people wait so long without an opening act.
Maluma is great, I love how he combine old songs with new album. Event Organization on point.
Overall I thought it was going to be better. Base on his other concert I seen. It was a short one hour and half. Started at 9:30pm instead of 8pm. Lately the singer continues to even start later than the original time. For the price I paid for this tickets I was expecting a better performance than what we received.
Maluma and the show were amazing. My complain is about the Bacardi lounge service / staff.
