MAGIC MAN IN CONCERT:
Rising electro-rock act Magic Man are being celebrated by fans and critics alike for their triumphant music and adrenaline-filled live shows. The band takes fans on a journey through "Paris", "Nova Scotia", and "Texas" with an infectious energy and passion that radiates into the crowd. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Magic Man began in 2009 when childhood friends Alex Caplow and Sam Lee started playing music together while working on a farm in France. They offered up their unofficial debut album Real Life Color on BandCamp the following year and started to gain a cult following in their native Rhode Island. After relocating to Boston and adding Justine Bowe, Nolan Robert, and Daniel Radin to their lineup, Magic Man debuted the new lineup with extensive touring throughout the US. They found widespread success with their 2013 EP You Are Here, which featured popular tracks like "Texas" and "Paris", and were praised by popular music blogs for their anthemic, dance-worthy music. They've toured with synth rock acts like MS MR, Walk the Moon, and Ra Ra Riot and have earned thousands of new fans along the way. With their commanding stage presence and songs from 2014's Before the Waves added to their repertoire, Magic Man always deliver one spellbinding performance after another on their must-see tours.
Great show. Full of energy and intensity. Alex, the lead singer is an amazing front man. Great interaction with the audience and completely in the moment. Five Stars.
Magic Man is the real deal. They sound just as fantastic as they do the studio version. Whether you are a new fan or an older one seeing them live is a wonderful experience. There is a lot of positive energy that just makes you feel great. The sound was on spot. Interaction with the concert goers is a major plus. Overall, 10 out of 10 would and will most likely see again in a heartbeat.
This was my 6th time seeing Magic Man and they get better and better every time. Such a talented group of people that have so much going for them. I have literally never had more fun at any other show. They are so interactive with the crowd and get everyone super pumped up. The crowd is always great. They get everyone on their feet jumping around and dancing. They have great energy that the crowd feeds off of. Alex is always moving around the stage, reaching for the crowd's hands, singing to them, etc.. Their sound is perfect for live performances. This tour they added a really awesome light display and platforms that Sam, Gabe, and Alex use to get closer to the audience. The stage setup definitely added so much more to the show. Seriously, check this band out and go see them if you have the chance. You will not regret it! One of the best bands around and some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Amazing venue, up close and not overly crowded. Great staff. And an incredible show.
one of the best shows i've been to. the atmosphere, the energy, everything about this show was incredible. so much talent and passion. everyone needs to see Magic Man at least once.
Over all the three bands had great chemistry and comradery on stage! I loved seeing Panama Wedding again! It was so cool to hear even more songs at this concert from them than last time I saw them. Magic man killed it! The room just exploded with energy when Alex took the stage and all the fangirls started screaming and crying. The energy was electric! It is always fun when the band interacts with eachother and the audience during sets. The end was perfect though when for the first song of the encore the two opening bands joined mm on the stage to dance around with them!
Magic Man at the Bowery Ballroom were amazing! Their songs translated well to stage performance and they were even more energetic than the original. Alex Caplow has an amazing voice and incredible dance moves. He also interacts with the crowd and looks at everyone individually, which I think is really special for fans. This is my second time seeing them and definitely not the last. Panama Wedding and Tiger Town were pretty good too, they made everyone dance.
Magic man was amazing! Alex Caplow (lead singer) was really energetic and his voice really translates live. Would definitely go again when they come to town.

Magic Man never fails to give an energetic performance! They are a great band that puts their heart and soul into every performance they give.

The whole concert was a great time and the bands all put so much energy into their performances. It was my 3rd time seeing magic man and I'm equally thrilled every time. Great band, great performance. Wasn't a big fan of the opening band, Tigertown, but Panama Wedding was a great choice.
Do not hesitate. Buy the tickets! Magic Man was the best concert I had ever been to. The energy was insane, the performance was mind-blowing, and the music was even better live.

I've seen Magic Man 3 times and each time is better than the last somehow. They are incredible performers and incredible people to top it all off. The Novel Ideas is also a great band; a little randomly placed in this set but still awesome. Gentleman Hall was ok. But in the end, Magic Man & The Novel Ideas make up for all shortcomings. Magic Man is the best band I've ever seen perform, and I am so proud of them and so glad they are in my life. Love u xoxo
