Maggie Rogers is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and accomplished multi-instrumentalist hailing from Easton, Maryland. Raised on folk music, Rogers began to experiment with dance elements while studying music at New York University, and in 2016, gained popularity after a video of Pharrell praising her single “Alaska” went viral. The song charted on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and eventually led to her 2017 EP Now That The Light Is Fading in 2017. Rogers’ major label debut Heard It in a Past Life followed in 2019, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and leading to her first solo headlining world tour and first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist later that year. After releasing three mixtapes and the 2020 Notes from the Archive: Recordings 2011–2016 compilation, Rogers shared her sophomore album Surrender in 2022. Over the years, Maggie Rogers has collaborated with artists such as Zach Bryan, Phoebe Bridgers, Sharon Van Etten and producer Rostam Batmanglij. Maggie is the best live performer i’ve ever seen live
Maggie is a strong singer and engaging performer. She clearly cares deeply about her craft and the people who listen to her. This concert felt like going to church in the best way. Thank you Maggie!
Maggie is an excellent performer and everyone who can see her should. However, I think this venue is very very small especially when entering and exiting. I waiting outside in the cold for over two hours, so much so that my phone stopped working and I had to pull up the tickets on my girlfriends phone. Make sure to bundle up! Another thing is that it takes at least 15 minutes to leave the venue unless you leave the concert early. There’s too many crowd crushes waiting to happen at this venue in my opinion, so please be safe and give people space here!
Maggie is such a great performer! Would highly recommend!
I took my daughter to see Maggie Rogers as a Xmas/Bday present. It was my first time catching a show at the Anthem. We were both happy to find out that the tickets I purchased through Amex allowed us VIP entrance to the venue. We were there early enough to get seated and watch as the venue filled for the sold out show. Glad we got the seats that we did, since the floor area was packed. Now I know how to plan for future events coming to this venue. Finally, Maggie is a phenomenal performer and artist and the production of the show was nothing short of fantastic. From the ticket purchase to the final encore, the experience was top notch. Thank you!
The venue was so packed we could not see a thing. Paid way too much to not be able to see a thing the whole time. Very upsetting.
Maggie was outstanding along with her band. Nice venue
The show was incredible, a true out of body experience. Easily my favorite performance to date. The venue was a bit difficult to get out of, but otherwise an amazing night.
I’ve been listening to Maggie Rogers for about 4 years now. I sucked in the moment I heard her first album! I think what I loved most about Maggie and her performance is that she sounded even better love than she does on the album. She a true vocalist and free spirit! I felt like a pure and her performance came natural! She put on a show and I’d see her again! My boyfriend and I had a BLAST!!
Maggie was everything we expected. She was joyous, fun, energetic, and even intimate. The crowd was fabulous and her band was terrific.
My seat was terrible (shame on you Radio City, for the price) but I didn’t let it ruin my experience. Maggie is an enthusiastic and fun entertainer and I felt joy just watching all around me who were enamored with her!
No one brings the same insurmountable energy as Miss Rogers. Was an amazing show!!
We heard Want, Want on Sirius XM and loved the song. We listened to her on Spotify to become familiar with the rest of her music. The band was incredible, she was great and the surprise of David Byrne and Sam Jaffe singing duets with her were a big treat! We had a wonderful experience and will certainly look for her when she is on tour again. She is a very gifted and talented performer.
First off, the acoustics on the 1st mezzanine could have been better. The volume was a little low. But Maggie is an incredible performer. Her band sounded great and she gave us 90 mins of jams. Crowd was a little sleepy but I think that's because the volume was low. It was hard to catch any momentum in the set from our section because it wasn't very loud. I will see Maggie any time she's in town. Hopefully at a different venue next time.
Magical high energy fun. Maggie just keeps getting better with every performance!
Maggie put on a phenomenal show Her stage presence is top level The anthem as always was a great venue to see such an amazing artist
I absolutely love Maggie Rogers and she put on a wonderful show. She has so much energy and her dancing is as enjoyable as her beautiful music. Our only complaint was the volume of the sound during the opening act del Water Gap. It was so loud we had to retreat to the lobby and return when it was time for Maggie to come on. It was then a 35 minute wait till she came on, meaning the show started at 9:20pm which is quite late on a Monday night. But Maggie is wonderful and I would see her again.
Great venue! Fun drinks and food! Beautiful venue! Maggie rocked! She was awesome in every way! Her mom was in the audience- so I think we got a super good show! I’d love to see her again!
Maggie Rogers is the cutest human ever and she puts on the most incredible show from beginning to end. I cried, laughed, smiled, danced, and sang my heart out at the top of my lungs. There is no greater feeling than being in a room full of people singing along to the same song<3 The Anthem was the perfect venue for the night. I’ll never miss another Maggie show.
The show was amazing, her voice is incredible and she was perfect!
