About

Maddie Poppe first captivated national audiences as the winner of American Idol Season 16 in 2018. Prior to her winning run on the reality competition show, the young singer-songwriter from Clarksville, Iowa self-released her debut album Songs from the Basement in 2016. Poppe sealed her Idol victory with the finale single “Going Going Gone,” which became her first song to hit the Billboard Digital Songs chart at No. 13. In 2019, Poppe released her Hollywood Records debut Whirlwind, featuring standout tracks such as “Wildflowers,” Made You Miss” and “Not Losing You.” She followed with 2020’s Christmas from Home EP and singles like “Good Enough to Let You Go” and “SOS I’m in Love” in 2023. Over the years, Poppe has collaborated with American Authors, Phillip Phillips, Joshua Radin and more.

    I loved everything about it., from the Christmas theme ,seating and all. Maddie Poppe was very entertaining throughout the whole show and is a awesome singer. My husband who had not heard of her was really impressed and talked about it the whole way home. I really hope she will do another show at Rosie's (New Kent,VA) in the future.

    I was first introduced to Maddie Poppe on American Idol in 2018. Wholesome Iowan with a stellar voice and she was strumming on a mean guitar. I was HOOKED! Voted each week for her, (on American Idol) and thought to myself, she might just win, hey, it could happen! When I watched each new episode of Idol, I was captivated by her leadership with other contestants and never saw someone work so hard behind the scenes. Practicing and encouraging others. When Maddie made it to the top 12, 10, 5 and 2...I cried every step of the way. When her name was called, as the next American Idol...I hit the floor with tears streaming down my face in pure joy! What a memorable moment that is forever ingrained in my mind. Maddie is a humble, funny and down to earth kinda gal. I met her a few dozen times and have loved her ever since. She always seems grateful to see me and happy to take a picture or two or three. I think 3 is her limit! Ha! I will be a Maddie Poppe fan until my time on this earth has expired. At 60, I hope to see many more concerts with Maddie and follow her success for another decade. Who knows, by then she may be married to Gabe and be chasing twins around Nashville. Hey, it could happen!

    I got a picture with my favorite American Idol ever, who was true to herself throughout the entire AI journey! I love her voice, and even though she was sick; she still sang beautifully!

    I went to see maddie in Chicago with my family without really knowing her and can I just say WOW she honestly could be a comedian. She connects with fans and has a really great voice, all of her music made me year up. would 100% go again.

    Maddie has a very pleasant voice and her songs are essentially stories She has a nice stage presence and connects to the audience.
