Overall good show but overpriced for the caliber of performance.

    Roariffic Performance! Puppet fun galore!

    by Slabby Daddy on 6/30/23

Very cute! We love the movies and they did a great job expanding on these beloved characters. The penguin puppeteers were also fantastic! A cool mix of puppets and live performers made it real enjoyable! Highly recommend if you liked the movies! Kids had fun!!! My oldest was a bit scared of the loud lion roar lol but still a great time! A+!

The show was cute. However, I will never attend a kids show again. They were talking and out of their seats, which made it difficult to hear and/or enjoy the show.

    Madagascar musical EP

by Patty on 6/24/23The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

It was somewhat unnerving when we got seated and the fire alarm was activated in the theater! I had my granddaughters with me and we were able to evacuate quickly. When we reached the lobby we were told it was a false alarm and it was safe to go back to our seats and then the all clear message was activated. The girls enjoyed the music and the characters very much, as did I. I was so pleased they enjoyed their first theater experience!

    I liked to move it!

by Lola on 6/23/23The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

We took 2 10-year olds and they loved it, I could hear them laughing every few minutes. Loved the adult humor too! Didn’t like that they said “butt” quite a few times.

    Disappointing

by Aunt Belle on 6/14/23H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

The stage was too small for the venue and it was hard to hear.

Left 20 mins into the show

by Dee on 6/14/23H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

Low budget production and it showed. Kids were bored and many left early. Singing and actors were talented but the production was below standards. Stage was tiny and props were subpar.

    Great Rendition!

by Ted on 6/13/23H-E-B Center at Cedar Park - Cedar Park

The movie being almost 20 years old was given proper tribute and the stage show, costumes and choreography kept toes tapping and kids singing.... not just for the pee-wee's... most adults got into the "movin groovin"

While the singing and acting talent was excellent, the music/sound was extremely too loud and sometimes jarring for small children. A number of families with children left early and saw several children with their hands over their ears. As an adult, it was also way too loud for me.
