    Mad Decent was quite decent!

by Carlots on 7/29/14Revolution Live Outdoors - Ft Lauderdale

This was my first rave and I had a blast! Despite the fact that at the end of the night i was drenched in not only my sweat, it was awesome! The vibes and people were so positive and I loved it. The music was top notch great! Definitely coming back for more events. However my ticket said that it was going to end at 12 but it Diplo finished his set around 9:30! I was a little disappointed but it was still an unforgettable experience!

Too hot. Lots of kids. No free water. Terrible experience.

Great line up. Not so great crowd.

by NBrightside on 7/29/14Revolution Live Outdoors - Ft Lauderdale

The artist on the Mad Decent label are some of favorite and I would drive just about anywhere to see them. The fact that MDBP Ft Lauderdale is all ages makes me reconsider this. There is kids on drugs, mosh pits, riots, and no one says excuse me as they walk by. I work at LIV and can see the Mad Decent DJ's in many other 21+ places but still chose to come here; it's my second time so far. The age limit needs to change. I'm not the only one who feels this way.

It was alot of fun. The DJs were awesome! I was so excited Diplo made it too. However, this should not be an all ages/16 and older event. Younger kids do not know how to handle themselves. I saw quite a few throwing up and some passing out. It was ridiculous. Besides that, it was awesome though. I would definitely go back next year if I knew I wouldn't see pre-pubescent KIDS not knowing how to handle partying in the day.

It was good, but could have used some improvements

by Sopita on 7/29/14Revolution Live Outdoors - Ft Lauderdale

The venue was too small, and it was extremely hot outside. The speaker systems weren't as good as expected. The artist lineup was good with a few exceptions. The amount of ratchet underage teenagers doing drugs was ridiculous. The beer was too expensive and the parking was horrible. But overall, the artists and music was awesome and with a big group of friends, it was fun. Maybe I'll go next year.

    Mad decent

by Kaitlyn111 on 7/29/14Revolution Live Outdoors - Ft Lauderdale

There were too many underage kids. They were all passing out and acting ridiculous. I had two 16 year old girls come up to me and ask for cigarettes and to buy them alcohol. Unless mad decent becomes an 18+ event I won't be attending anymore.

by mendough on 7/29/14Revolution Live Outdoors - Ft Lauderdale

From the beginning to the end, it was pure amazing. There not a single moment I was dancing or singing. I made so many new friends & everyone was so happy, I loved the atmosphere. Every single set was amazing. Definitely going next year!!

all artists that preformed besides one or two were straight up amazing, the facility i would give it 3 stars though. Mad Decent still outdid themselves this time!

This was not without its flaws but overall everything went great, which seems difficult given all the acts, moving pieces etc...

    Umm

by Hannah1126 on 7/29/14Revolution Live Outdoors - Ft Lauderdale

This needs to be 18+ Literally too many little kids on all types of things. That needs to be controlled. The speakers blew out. Really? I'm probably not coming back to this again.

The festival was ok, it was too many young kids. I know it was an all ages but there was like 12 years old there

Mad Decent Block Party was insane!!!!

by Amoral31 on 7/29/14Revolution Live Outdoors - Ft Lauderdale

This party was sick! You had people partying on the patio at Americas Backyard, an all-day rave inside Revolution, and the block party out front!!! Such good vibes, amazing music, great time. Please keep bringing this tour back, I need this in my life. Missed Flosstradamus (heard they killed it)....but Zeds Dead, Dillon Francis, and DJ Snake were live! And then Diplo came out as a surprise at the end....oh...em...geee. Only way to make this better would be to please move it to a cooler month (July in FL=death) and upgrade the stage and lightshows.

MDBP Was everything I expected and way more!!

by rOOdis on 7/29/14Revolution Live Outdoors - Ft Lauderdale

Despite the fact that it was blazing hot and humid as usual in south Florida, the performances were amazing. Flosstradamus killed the crowd with so many trap hits. Dillon Francis and Riff Raff did some work too. The closing act was DJ snake and diplo made a surprise appearance which was all my gf and I really wanted. DJ snake and Diplo shut the place down! I'm definitely making sure to see these guys again, maybe closer next time.

    Twerkfest 2013

by Mrmolly305 on 8/11/13Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Besides the fact that everyone's day was ruined because of the thunderstorms the entire afternoon, I can definitely say I had the time of my life although I personally feel that this event should of been held in downtown Miami, not downtown Fort Lauderdale. Also was a bit upset to had paid $50 and not see Dillion Francis or Baauer!

    Rage

8 hours of bass surrounded by other equally happy people. Honestly something everyone should do every once in a while.

Mad Decent rocks the house but Revolution fails

by MisterChief on 8/7/13Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Let me preface this by saying all the Mad Decent label artists were fantastic; Kito & Reija Lee, HeRobust, Zed's Dead and especially Major Lazer, their set was incredible and Diplo had the energy of the crowd sky-high! The average rating is due to the venue. Revolution was simply not prepared for an event this size. Entrance lines were upwards of 90 minutes and there was not enough staff to keep the crowds in check. Even if they didn't have enough people some barricades or proper lanes would have helped greatly. Once inside I quickly found myself in another 45 minute line, this time for the restrooms. By my count there was eight for what seemed to be several thousand people, no separate men and women's, it was a total disaster. Aside from that, since it was an outdoor event they staged it in the parking lot and the weather being uncooperative caused several areas to be flooded, but there's not much you can do about that. That aside, the artists rescued the event and I can only hope going forward Revolution is better equipped when handling something of this size.

    Mad Decent

by DrewL74 on 8/7/13Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Me and my friends got there about 2:10 and we see this looooooooooong line that we have to wait in. Floss was supposed to start at 2:30 but started at 2. We ended waiting in the line for two hours and fifteen minutes. Didnt get in untill 4:25. The event was not organized well. We would have waited in the line for three/four hours if we didnt keep cutting the line. We cut the line a bunch of times and it still took us 2 hours+. Half the speakers got blown out as well. There was also a time when a dj stopped playing in the middle of his set for twenty minutes & one song on low volume was repeatedly playing. The long intermissions also ruined the vibe. Zeds dead killed it, major lazer + herobust did good.
