I remember seeing them on America’s Got Talent and was very impressed with the innovative way to portray art. So when I had the opportunity to see it live it was magnificent. I’m so impressed with Binghamton and arts world being able to provide the citizens of our city the Luma festival
It was obvious someone put a lot of time into making this cool colorful show. Creativity and technical brains, that we don't have, were were needed to capture the story that was told here. Only suggestion would be to raise some of the action that was at the bottom of the screen higher so we could see it easily Having it at the arena was a good idea and the way the we were seated in an organized , timely manner was appreciated.
This show was very enjoyable. It a was unique and artistic experience, a combination of projection art and a dance/acrobatic act that told a story. My Ticketmaster experience on the other hand was not so good. The ticket purchase took more than an hour because Ticketmaster would not recognize my login and required password change. It also did not let me transfer tickets to the others I had purchased for. And there was a service charge for each ticket. (Convenience charge! I think not!!)
I’m an artist and have an creative eye for starters. I gave this a 4 because the effects were a second delayed and I kinda annoyed me a bit. Although it was really great I did expect to see audience involvement. Everyone told me how cool Luma is so my expectations were high but I guess for $7 this was great. Next time it would be cool if you maybe had a 3d Sphinx run down the middle of the aisle or something like that. Something on the ceiling, just keep us in suspense the entire time. Great job overall for Binghamton
