Great venue, not a bad sweet in the house. Lukas played his heart out, it was an amazing show
Lukas & his band were awesome. I love every song they played. Love his voice. Didn't want the show to end. Loved the young man who changed his guitars. The show was awesome & can't wait too see him again
Wonderful musician who put on a great live show! Tight band, good song selection, aware of the audience. He’s blessed with a unique, strong voice.
Lukas Nelson and his band are amazing!! Lukas is a consummate singer, musician, and performer. His band is wonderfully talented. The Ulster Performing Arts Center is a lively venue and the staff were friendly and professional.
Very disappointed. Lukas played in Northern CA all the time when he was honing his craft to play with Neil. We saw him many times. Now I guess he thinks we're not worth his time. That's too bad.
Sound was amazing! Lukas’s voice resonated beautifully and he sounds as good live as he does on his albums ✨🎶🙂
Unbelievable writer, musician, and singer song writer! American Romance is a fantastic album start to finish!! Can’t wait to see him next time!!!
My mom and I went because Lukas is her favorite musician. She had the time of her life! We loved the venue. He played all of the songs she loves. The show was fun! He even stayed after the show and signed autographs, talked with the crowd, and allowed fans to take pictures with him. 10/10.
Lukas has picked a fantastic selection of songs from his prior albums for this tour with his new band. Lukas also played all 3 new releases from his upcoming album. Fans in Flagstaff were already familiar with the songs as was I. In each number, Lukas leads with🔥 guitar licks while band members are also jamming. Harmonies are tight and there are some hot moves in favorite song, Find Yourself. This is country music that rocks hard!!! I saw the show twice in AZ and have tix for Allentown, PA show.
Second time seeing Lukas and he was absolutely awesome again! Tremendous singer and guitar player who enjoys what he's doing! A must see!
Wonderful from start to finish. Don’t want to miss, ever. Always a wonderful show and very moving. Great for family and friends. Xo
I have had the distinct pleasure of seeing Lukas Nelson with The Family on the Outlaw circuit and with POTR. I only first saw him at Outlaw in 2019 but the first note I heard the man sing my jaw was on the floor. I couldn't believe how much he sounded like his Daddy and yet distinctly Lukas. The same can be said for his style of guitar playing. I even adore the way he looks at his Father when he performs with him. You can tell there is never a moment wasted between them. And no matter the incarnation, Lukas always comes outfitted with fellow musicians that compliment and enhance the experience of his music even further. At this point I know what to expect every time I see him live and yet I will always leave wanting MORE! This past summer Willie was regrettably too ill to perform despite his best effort. It was a same day announcement for Virginia Beach and some attendees were foolish enough to choose either not to attend or to leave early. For the majority of true Nelson fans that stayed but might not have been familiar with Lukas, they were in for a treat. Once Lukas took the stage, it was pure magic to hear a 20,000 seat Amphitheater comes to a stunned silence. The exception being my husband and myself belting out every word when appropriate. At times you could have heard a pin drop on the stage from the back of the Lawn that's how enraptured Lukas had the audience. This man deserves all the dues and one day they're surely coming. Truly one of the most talented musicians in the industry today. Don't miss a chance to see him live!
Went to the Amp in NWA and was very surprised PLEASANTLY! This guy has pipes and the whole bad was amazing! We went for Whiskey Meyers and this was just as good
I went and seen Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real twice last year. Once in Missouri, Knuckle Heads garage was a great venue. Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real were amazing. I was very impressed by their performance. I seen them again in Little Rock Arkansas at the Hall. Much better experience, that's just my little secret what I seen👑💎❤️🩹
I like a lot of their songs, but this is the first time that I’ve seen Lukas Nelson and POTR. I expected a good show, but it was so much better than that. The vocals were spot on and emotive. The musicianship was top notch. They played so well. They have definitely made a fan of me. I’d definitely see them again.
Those that did not make it, missed a chance to see a band and it’s lead singer make a profound statement of what Promise of the Real is all about with Lukas Nelson and his mates giving their best on stage..Having seen them with Neil Young back in 2016; I was not anticipating anything but pure genius from a group of rising stars…..Promise of the Real and Lukas have at least six recordings, of which I was only familiar with four on the night of the show. Hope to see them again..Definitely has a a Texas country rock folk sound to their songs, but they did not disappoint!
Lukas and the POTR along with his opening act Talia Keys were outstanding but the standing only was excruciating and I missed that somehow we would never have gone. My husband has lower back problems and we were forced to leave very early due to his back pain.
This really was an excellent show! The opening act, Talia Keys, was extremely entertaining and talented. And Lukas and band were hot! Price was affordable and I would definitely go again.
Lukas is so talented. The music just moves through his body when he starts playing. He’s also an incredible songwriter and his band is so incredibly tight. He wisely travels with his own sound man so there wasn’t a squelched or muffled note in the entire show. I’d see them again anywhere. Would they consider doing the King Biscuit in Helena Ark next fall?
I happened upon a Willie Nelson & Family concert in Austin. Not only was my hero fantastic but Lukas is nothing short of genius. He is Petty, Clapton, Willie & himself wrapped up in a gorgeous dynamic package. Cannot wait for him & POTR to get on "the road again."
