Undoubtedly one of the most beloved and successful international artists of today, Mexican performer Luis Miguel has been thrilling fans since 1990 with his exceptional live performances and top selling albums. He made musical history by being the only Latin American performer to have two platinum albums in the US (Romance and Segundo Romance)--both comprised of beautifully performed, sentimental South American love songs. Miguel is also the winner of three GRAMMY Awards and has, to date, 34 platinum records throughout South and Central America.

Perfect night, perfect artist. The only downside was that the pavilion never seems to get the sound right and sometimes sounds unclear.
I've been a fan for 25 years and I'd never seen him live before. It was thrilling. The show started about 40 minutes late and it was comparatively short but still classy Luis Miguel all the way. I was a little disappointed that he mixed a bunch of the old songs into medleys and didn't actually sing a full one or let the audience sing a lot of medleys. Yes, we know them, but we came to see and hear YOU sing, dude. He performed a lot of songs from the newer albums. Really good show overall.
It was absolutly wonderful.. the only reason it was not perfect was that he didnt sing with the Mariachi. This was the 1st time my husband came with me to his concert and I really wanted him to see him sing with the Mariachi.. but dont get me wrong.. Luis Miguel was awesome.. his concert just keep getting better n better... Can't wait for Vegas in September..
The singing was great Luis Miguel sings great. However, the event was toooo short less than 90 minutes and parking was awful at this venue.
He started late and ended early. He sang maybe 10 songs. He sang all of his pop music, which he usually sings at the opening (just to warm up) and then sings his ballads and ends with mariachi...well we didn't get any ballads or mariachi. The concert was a total flop and waist of $$$.
It was a good show, but it last like 1 hr and half... too short from my point of view...
WHAT HAPPEN TO THE FULL SHOW. DID SAN DIEGAN GET THE SHORT STICK... WERE WE THE TEST OR ARE WE JUST WORTH THE WHOLE COMPLETE SHOW. I THINK WE ALL PAID FULL PRICE TO SEE A SHORT PROGRAM. HE NEEDS TO START DOING A SOUND CHECK BEFORE THE CONCERT I HATE IT WHEN HE DOES IT ONES THE SHOW HAS STARTED. COME ON Luis Miguel, you use to be so profesional what happen?
The selection of songs was incredible, buy the sound not so great.
Great show y su voz tan fuerte como siempre! Worth the trip to San Diego from Albuquerque. Great mix of songs both old and new.
After going to his concerts many times, I think this particular one, wasn't what I have experienced before, and the tickets were very expensive., the quality wasn't the same as previous concerts, he didn't sing with the mariachi, which I think is a must in his concerts.
it was so amazing!! waiting for the next one in SD
I've been listening to Luis Miguel for about 15 years, and as someone whose first language is not Spanish, I've seen him live too many times to count. And it's worth it every time. No one sings like Luis. He's an artist in every sense of the word. His voice sounds just as strong at the end of each concert as it does at the beginning. The concert in San Diego was no exception. Luis was full of energy and really enjoyed singing for his public. That voice! That face! :-) My only "complaint" (for lack of a better word) is that I would like to see him sing some different songs. With a career as long as Luis' and a large repertory, it would be nice if he would mix it up a bit more. But, he could sing the alphabet and it would be beautiful. hehehe
I first heard Luis' voice on my honeymoon during a sunset cruise along the coast of Puerto Vallarta . . . truly a memorable and perfect moment. I am a professional singer & teacher, so I'm well acquainted with the quality, nuances, energy and experience that make a singer great. From recordings and video I have enjoyed, he's the real deal - a beautiful voice that is expressive, resonant, and moving, with a powerful stage presence and likeable persona. I've not been able to coordinate my schedule with his tour dates . . . but JACKPOT! in San Jose this time. I am very much looking forward to this concert.
For those who don't know GOAT = Greatest Of All Time. I've seen him in concert 3 times now Jan 29th at the Gibson will be the 4th time I witness greatness. He is without a doubt one of the greatest voices ever. I'm talking about great voices like Aretha, Perry, Sinatra, Elvis and Otis. Luis Miguel is right up there. He sounds in concert just like his records do. I've been a life long fan and will remain one until the end of time. He has a great music line up and is amazing overall. Long live "El Sol" Luis Miguel.
Saw Luis Miguel in Las Vegas in 2009 and then again this year. I absolutely love him - he sings like an angel and is not hard on the eyes! He is such a great performer. He is perfection.
Was fortunate enough to see LM for all four concerts in LV and he was fabulous all four nights! Have been going to his concerts for over 10 years and cannot get enough of his talent live and onstage. What an awesome performer, so much talent to share with everyone who love and adore him! If you are not an LM fan, you will be after seeing him perform live. Absolutely the Best. Can't wait for next time.
I SAW HIS PERFORMANCE 2 YEARS AGO IN VEGAS ALSO BUT THIS YEAR TOP THAT ONE FROM 2 YEARS... HIS SHOW WAS LONGER AND MORE ENTERTAINING.. HE SANG HITS FROM THE 90'S UNTIL NOW... ALSO FROM HIS NEW ALBUM..ITS WAS FENOMENAL.. THE AUDIENCE DIDNT STOP SINGING ALL HIS SONGS... AND HIS INTERACTION WITH THE AUDIENCE ALSO VERY NICE.. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!
Spanish [and English] are not my native languages, but Luis Miguel's performance can overcome language barriers. I follow this amasing singer for more then 15 years and all his performances are unforgettable - great voice, great entertainer. He is classy and his song list is beautiful. His orchestra, the lighting are fabulous, however I tend to focus my attention on his voice. I was disappointed only with the crowd - loud and unconsidered, too many drinks before and during the concert. Luis Miguel deserves a better audience.
Luis Miguel is # 1, the one and only! My wife and I enjoyed a lot this concert
Unforgettable event. Every time I attend one of his concerts, I fall in love with him more and more. Totally awesome!!!
