Sound Issues Derail a Great Show and Artist

by MBGC on 5/9/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Luis was phenomenal. He looked amazing and performed amazingly, but the sound was distorted. And at the end when the sound and the video went out mid song it was impossible for him to do an encore. I think what I love most about him is that he performed the right songs, the songs that drew us to him in the first place. I hope somebody’s head got chewed off for the technical issues. He’s too great an artist to have to deal with this. The mariachis were amazing.

    Meh

by Daniel on 5/8/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

I'm not a fan but my wife is. He has a great voice and the show has some spectacular moments but she was disappointed he didn't sing some of her favorites like Sabor a Mi and Si Nos Dejan. The audience begged for one more song and he stuck around and it seemed like he would but then turned around and left. For the price we paid, it was disappointing.

    Concert was great!

by JSP on 5/8/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Luis Miguel was 38 minutes late was his concert was worth the wait. He was energetic and creative. His musicians were right on and so were his choirs. I truly enjoyed it. Too bad screens went off towards to the end of the concert.

    Never addressed the crowd

by ECG08 on 5/8/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

I bought these tickets as a Mother’s Day gift for my mom, who listens to Luis Miguel literally every day. I thought it was so weird how he never addressed the crowd even once… not even to say hi or “thank you for coming goodbye.” My mom left the concert disappointed. Apart from that, the show was pretty good and the man can sing.

    He is the best!

    by Anabella on 5/8/24

He is a great singer and performer, and OMG those hips don't lie! He still got it! He sings very well. He never addresses the public in any of his concerts, he doesn't say hi or goodbye, it is just how he likes his performances, he goes straight to the point and starts singing right away, he shows up 40 mins late, but it was so good! He sang for an hour and 40 minutes, unfortunately on the last song something happened and the screens went black and his microphone stopped working. I would say we were able to listen to most of the concert and thank God that happened on the very last song. I just wish we were able to see the final part. The productions, the wristbands, the mariachis, all the musicians, the support singer, everything was on point and so elegant, and Luis Miguel was the cherry on top. So sad about that incident with the sound and the very last minute, but totally worth it, I'll go back and listen to him again. Luis Mi te amo!
