LUDACRIS IN CONCERT:
As far as sonic recognizability goes, few rappers can top the unmistakable timbre of Ludacris' signature drawl. Luda has been an ubiquitous presence in rap music ever since his 1998 on-record debut, and with "Party Girls," the first preview single from eighth album Ludaversal, climbing charts in early 2014, he's showing no signs of slowing. Luda treated audiences at his 2013 shows to marathon sets of his greatest hits, and with a new album hitting shelves in 2014, fans are sure to get some special treatment on his upcoming tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born Christopher Brian Bridges in Illinois, Ludacris moved to Atlanta at age nine. After a stint as a radio DJ on Atlanta's legendary Hot 97.5, he scored his first mainstream exposure on the track "Phat Rabbit," a collaboration with Timbaland from the famed producer's 1998 album Tim's Bio: Life from da Basement. Ludacris built on this success with his 2000 debut album Back for the First Time, which contained several huge singles, and in 2003 he topped the Billboard 200 with third album Chicken-n-Beer. His next two albums would also top the chart, spawning classic No. 1's "Stand Up" and "Money Maker" and establishing him as one of rap's biggest players. With seven Top 5 albums under his belt and eighth album Ludaverse due out in 2014, anticipation for Luda's upcoming tour dates is at fever pitch.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"I would see Ludacris again in a heartbeat. He is as good live as he is on every single one of his albums. He's funny, he's clever, he's entertaining and he's downright sexy."
"...Ludacris came up, and I was absolutely floored. A wonderful combination of his old number one hits and his new ones made me fall in love all over again with his artistry. He was very charismatic and able to keep the crowd going."
"Luda was awesome!!! I have never had that much fun at a concert ever. Luda is a pure entertainer!!!! Great selection!"

The Rio Rancho Events Center ABSOLUTELY botched the sound for the first half of this show. Both Mike Jones and Twista went on sounding like they were screaming over a blown speaker. The show went an hour and a half over time due to that mess and all of the acts. I don’t care who you are, I don’t really want to be at a show for five hours. Lil Jon, Ja Rule, Ashanti and Ludacris awesome, but the rest of the acts weren’t great and the entire thing could have been tighter and better organized.
It was awesome, but the first two acts suffered and the overall experience was impacted because the speakers sounded really bad. It got fixed and definitely made the rest of the concert better.
The performers were amazing. Let’s start with that, first and foremost. AMAZING!! The employees we encountered were all nice, polite and helpful. The sound crew? They were straight trash. How many times does it have to asked to turn the vocals up? If each performer is asking for the same thing during their set up time, you might be the problem. We could barely hear the first 3 performers before they finally did better but it wasn’t right until the last 3 performers. The music was fine, it was just the vocals on the mics.
The sounds at the beginning was terrible and hurt. The artists did a great job but should have also been shown on the monitors left and right for the ppl in the back etc .
It was all around great saw the same show in Ruidoso NM
The audio was a major issue at the beginning! They got it sorted eventually but as Fat Joe said "It was disrespectful as hell". Fantastic concert that had me vibin to all my favorite songs.
This concert topped my number one, I loved every minute of it. Sang my heart out lol lost my voice, this concert exceeded my expectations!!!
Took my Niece for her 34th birthday with is today January and My Sister who lives down in A.C. we had a Wonderful time Juvenile brought back memories lol I'm 57 and my body hurt lol Thank you Hard Rock♥️💯🫶 Happy Birthday Ninipop ♥️💯🥳🎂🎊🥃
He didn't show up and didn't even apologize. Atleast say something.
Travelled 2 hours to see Ludacris. 1.5 hours after the show was supposed to start someone comes on stage and says concert is cancelled. No apology or explanation other than “his plane is grounded”. So disrespectful.

Luda was great- songs were awesome. Was just getting into it one hour in and the concert is done and lights go on. My friend had left to get us a drink and was gone for over 20mins because the lines were so long. They closed the bars inside the venue for some reason as the concert began. Would have been helpful to have all hands on deck for getting drinks. Just a lot of wasted time. Sound was good and venue was good.
I loved this event! The only thing I didn’t like was the seating was too close together.
Ticket said start time 8:00 - dj started at like 8:15 with multiple technical difficulties. Ludacris came out at 8:30ish put on a great show but was over at 9:30??? Not even an hour long. Too short for the money paid.
Literally only played for an hour. Felt bad for people driving far. Only played 30seconds worth of songs. He's more of an opener, wouldn't go see him again.
Show was gods Luda was great but was only an hour long was kinda disappointing
Fantastic performance, Ludacris was on point! My only complaint is the concert was too short, roughly 1.5hrs. I would see him again at a different venue were he can perform longer.
Everyone show go see Luda best performer. I enjoyed the show
I had a great time. I was on my feet the entire concert!!
