About

LUCIE SILVAS IN CONCERT:

Pop songstress Lucie Silvas first wowed fans in 2000 with her empowering tunes and passionate live performances. In concert the gifted multi-instrumentalist switches between piano, mandolin, and acoustic guitar to tailor her approach to triumphant favorites like "Letters to Ghosts," "Breathe In," and "Villain." Her songs are propulsive and infectious, but it's Silvas' dynamic voice that commands the spotlight, and she hits fans right in the heart as she switches from gutsy lows to soaring highs. Lucie Silvas proves that poignant music can be both fun and impactful, and ticket buyers can experience her emotive power during her inspiring concerts.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Lucie Silvas got an early start on her way to becoming a beloved singer-songwriter, taking up the piano at age five and writing her first song at age 10. She left college in 1996 to sing back up for pop rocker Judie Tzuke, and in 2000 she released her first single "It's Too Late." Silvas partnered with Mercury Records in 2003 to release her full-length debut album Breathe In, which featured the UK Top 10 hit "What You're Made of" and led to her first solo tour. Following her 2006 sophomore album The Same Side, Silvas retreated from the limelight and focused her efforts on writing songs for others, including contributions to the NBC musical drama Smash. She returned in 2015 with the self-released Letters to Ghosts, which reunited fans with the high-caliber songwriting and brilliant vocals they had missed for nearly a decade. Back at the top of her game, Lucie Silvas gives fans of moving singer-songwriters even more to love at her riveting concerts.
