    Avoid at All Costs

by JoeRollerfan on 8/11/17Moore Theatre - Seattle

Man, I wish I'd read these reviews before buying my ticket. Two boring DJs played for over an hour, followed by the real performers for about 50 minutes. They did a series of mediocre aerial acts, hip-hop dance routines, and some singing. I would've given them two stars without the opening DJs, but I'm dropping one star for making me sit through that crap.

    Bored Now

by BoredNow on 8/9/17The Fillmore - San Francisco

The experience was set up to sound much cooler than it actually was. There were too many openers and by the time things started getting better it was closer to 11pm-midnight and my friends and I just weren't interested anymore.. wish I could get a refund of my time.

    Laughably horrible

by Anonymous on 8/8/17The Fillmore - San Francisco

Complete waste of time. Opening dj was hilariously bad, second act was a guy on a drum machine and worse than the opener (possible?!). Two hours into a 9pm show and it was too awful to stick around. Insult to the Fillmore and people who bought tickets. For shame.

Lucent Dossier Experience was Disappointing :(

by SDAerialist on 8/2/17House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

I bought VIP seats to see Lucent Dossier, which was advertised to start at 8pm. I had seen this company about 6 years ago and was expecting a show filled with all the things I loved about this group - Specialty acts, specifically fire and aerial. NOT only was there NO aerial or fire acts, the audience WAITED almost 3 HOURS while listening to annoying DJ music before Lucent even graced the stage. And then we only got a 45 minute show, which was mostly dancing. Audience members around me were leaving before they even came onstage, upset about the situation and exclaimed they were going to ask for their money back. My friend and I went to the restaurant to escape the annoying music and wait for Lucent to appear. If I had know what we were in for, I would have NOT bought tickets to this show. This "Experience" is not what was advertised.

Show was terrible. Nothing like advertised. E hours of a bad dj with a little costumes dancing. No aerial.

Great show; just 2 hr wait to start

by HopefullyContinuedFan on 8/1/17House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

I've seen Lucent Dossier 4 or 5 times now & love the artsy & sexy shows I highly recommend for something unique & fun to do. The music is good, costumes are great, & performers are really talented in the dances, feats & acting. But I won't go again unless they advertise that they've either reduced their DJ time from 2 hours to no more than an hour, or have a pre-show or something better for people to look at than a guy playing music on a laptop for so long (one option might be artsy presentatiosn on big screens using 3D glasses like they had at coachella once that was so awesome?) Many people in the audience were talking about how bored they were standing (HOB is mostly standing only) for so long 7pm after doors opened to 10:15pm when all were chanting "start the show" and it finally started & went to 11pm (45 minutes.)

    Terrible

by Amber1031 on 8/1/17House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

Terrible DJ played most of the night, and an average performance for about 45 minutes, it was the worst performance I've seen. I would have left if the tickets weren't $40 each (out the door)

Best Show I've Seen in Years

by tehjosheh on 8/1/17House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

Much better than any sole musical performance! The music was excellent, the choreography was fluid, and it was an overall unforgettable experience.

    Awful

by Anonymous on 7/31/17The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Expect a very looong and boring experience. I do not recommend this show for people that are looking to be entertained unless a friend or family member is part of the show and you're there to support them. Otherwise, you'll be disappointed and bored.

    Garbage

by luckybdogg on 7/31/17The Wiltern - Los Angeles

The tickets said 7pm, which was the door time. At 8pm, we began the process of two one-hour DJ sets of the strangest "music" I've ever heard. Once the actual performance began around 10:15pm, it struck me as a knockoff, cheapened version of a cirque du soliel show filled with the performers who didn't cut it for the real cirque. Felt very cheap and inauthentic.

    Best free tickets ever!

by NeonNova on 6/6/14House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

We got our tickets for free, and we didn't know what to expect, but the show was amazing! This is one of the most unique things I have seen in a while. It has aspects that appeal to anyone who loves music, dance, or theater. Definitely awesome!
