Following their 08 tour with Taylor Swift, Love and Theft is red hot with the release of their new album "World Wide Open" featuring their smash hit "Runaway"
Their three-song showcase for representatives of the performing rights organization ASCAP ended with many in the room pulling out cell phones to tell friends at record labels, "You've got to hear this band before someone signs them!" The band performed a 3-song showcase in the offices of Lyric Street/Carolwood Records for A&R chief Doug Howard who immediately declared, "You should have never made it to my office...you should have already been signed! Please don't play for anyone else," and the label quickly moved to sign the band. After Taylor Swift heard the trio's music, she brought them on board as an opening act for her headlining concerts in '08. Audiences at those and other shows have been swept away at first listen by the trio's soaring harmonies and on-stage charisma.
These two guys Steven and Eric, can sing. The band had a mini jam session that sounded amazing. How they can remember all the cords to the songs still shocks me. They interact well with the audience, even snapping a few from the stage.
This is the first time I've been to The House of Blues and the first time I've heard Love And Theft live! We did the dinner package so made a reservation at the restaurant and ate first. The food was delicious! I had Voodoo Shrimp and my friend had the Penne Pasta with chicken, both spicy and very tasty. The venue was intimate holds only 1100 max. The downstairs is all standing from what I could see but we reserved balcony seats. We were in the Elmo balcony upstairs to the right of the stage sitting in row 1 seats 1 & 2. The tail is too high to see over when you sit back, had to lean forward and sit high but we managed and really enjoyed the show. Love And Theft were fantastic, great voices and fun personalities. I would go again in a heartbeat!!to hear Love And Theft and to this venue!
Love and Theft are amazing! These guys always put on a great show! Very entertaining, sound amazing, and are a lot of fun! If have you have never seen them before, you need to!
All 3 guys were outstanding!! The 8 second saloon was an awesome venue to see them at as well. They were able to walk through the tables and meet with fans afterwards, it was a fantastic show!
From the down to earth attitudes, to the larger than life personalities, these guys put on an awesome show!!! I'd recommend going to see them the first chance you get! Great show...and after party ;)
I love this band so much, it was great to see them in person, especially at such a small venue :) I love seeing bands at bigger arenas, but this was much more personal and a chance to be up close and intimate with them before their career really takes off!!!
Opening Band- Greg Warren Band was really good. Love and Theft did an awesome show.
They were amazing! Great performers and had so much fun on stage. Had great interaction with the audience and did signing after at Brad Paisley's concert in Florida 2012 :) Also commented me on how cute my sundress was!! Love them :)
